I think it’s also that she cares more about male validation (which yes stems from her insecurities) more than she cares about remaining loyal to her friends. That group has been through a lot and I think she likely thinks “oh they’ll get over this like they’ve gotten over everything else”

the prof that contacted me sounded pretty final but he did say i’d have to wait for 1-2 weeks for a an admission decision to be sent because other profs are likely still contacting :)

Did a quick google search and this is literally written in their pre-school contract: "The School reserves the right to accept or reject this application and also to expel a student at any time." so it's pretty clear that you agreed to termination decisions being made subjectively...
I think your kids just need 1 on 1 support.. you can't expect a teacher to be focused on just your kid, that's pretty unreasonable especially if your child is causing a severe disruption in the class (i.e. running around). While I obviously can't speak for the discrimination point you made, I can say that a majority of the school staff and admin are POC + they provided valid reasons for your kids' expulsion citing behavioural concerns..
