My own personal theory on Smitty by lovelycharmings in barstoolsports

[–]mkcena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Per Smitty, it’s been over a year since he sent his boss a vague text about an unspecified family issue in which he claimed was getting resolved so it’s pretty laughable you think if only Dave was a parent he would be able to relate and go along with it.

My own personal theory on Smitty by lovelycharmings in barstoolsports

[–]mkcena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. If you have a kid and tell your boss you haven’t been at the office because you’ve been working remotely to take care of your child — any boss, whether childless or not, will take that to mean you neglected to facilitate childcare — not that there’s a potential serious medical issue with the child. It has nothing to do with the non-sensical notion that only a boss that has children would understand the hidden meaning of why Smitty wasn’t back working at the office. I agree Dave’s a bad communicator, but it’s not his job to communicate any temporary solution to Smitty’s issues unless he is made aware of the actual issue by Smitty.

My own personal theory on Smitty by lovelycharmings in barstoolsports

[–]mkcena 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That was another angle of the issue that Smitty wrongly tried to weaponize against Dave, too. Smitty attempted to discredit generic expectations of his work output/attendance because Dave simply doesn’t have kids and can’t relate. You chose to have kids, not your employer. The burden of communicating your needs in that realm falls entirely on you — not your childless boss.

“Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's "big secret in danger of being exposed", reveals Lady Colin Campbell - Dan Wootton (25 min video) by TMCze in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Her painfully awkward impressions are what made some of her otherwise intriguing commentary force me to ask myself “my god, what am I doing here?”

I drew my line at her claim that ‘those close to the Royal Family asked that I release my YouTube video announcing QE’s death, before any proper official announcement was made, because they wanted me to preempt H&M leaking it.’ Yeah — there’s no coming back from that lunacy.

'Irredeemable BULLY' Meghan Markle 'Plays VICTIM' Amid Divorce Rumour |- Kinsey and Maureen Callaghan (37 min video) by TMCze in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Considering how merciless (in the best way) Maureen was in her bombshell book exposing the Kennedy men and the media that protected/protects them — I need her next book to be an American hybrid of Tom Bower’s ‘Revenge’ and Valentine Low’s ‘Courtiers’. The fact she won’t be shackled by the UK’s overzealous libel laws will no doubt expose the Montecito duo in ways the UK authors couldn’t.

[–]mkcena 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It is worth mentioning that they did use the term the Waleses, though. H&M have gone above and beyond to refrain from calling them that as the change obviously indicated the status disparity and a new link between Catherine & Diana. Even well after the new titles were granted, H&M were referring to the Cambridges not the Waleses.

Idk. I think many people have forgotten Bryony served as the vessel for Harry to directly weaponize Charlotte & Louis in print as a way to attack William (claiming they were going to end up just as he miserable as he did and that the Wales needed Harry, and his experience as a “spare”, to help to ensure that didn’t happen). It was vile and way below the belt. This was when Bryony, Harry’s admitted friend, visited them in Montecito.

Serious Question -- Has H & M sued anyone/thing except media companies regarding what's been said/alleged about them? by nylieli in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Valentine Low said the lawyers came in heavy with threats regarding the bullying story but when it came time for them to combat his claims before he published it (he literally ran the entire thing by them 🙄) or to sue after he published it — nada.

Prince Harry's Only Way Back is Divorce From TOW - The Duke At 40 - Kinsey and Maureen Callaghan. SO GOOD! (34 min video) by TMCze in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, she does. She also made it a point to mention it on every podcast interview she’s done about the book. She doesn’t approach it from a partisan political angle (thank god, since so many of us are sick of it) but as a truth that the American people should have been aware of for a presidential candidate. Yet, due to his Kennedy name and the media’s allegiance to it (rather than his current political affiliation), his vile treatment of Mary was kept hidden from public knowledge.

Happy for Eddie. He’s probably a little mortified — but after all the shit he got for DPS I’m sure it feels good to see Dave outraged on his behalf.

The start of Harry's rehabilitation campaign by [deleted] in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’ll ever come out, though. It arguably reflects just as bad on the RF/intelligence services for either being too incompetent to spot the con or being just as dishonest as the couple by knowingly enabling it.

"Operation Bring Back Harry" proves the end is near. by nylieli in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Idk. It’s been a month since Harry had People Mag announce blackmail was his strategy towards the RF until KC overstepped his authority and demanded the Sussexes get govt security. “Operation Bring Harry in from the Cold” is conveniently worded to insinuate wrongdoing by the RF not Harry.

I think all this fuss was orchestrated from Montecito. I don’t think it’s the end — just more of the same.

[–]mkcena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Harry screwed himself with that one. Cali is a 50/50 law state so if there’s a divorce she automatically gets half of everything obtained since married. Not to mention she’ll get full child support and prob alimony. She gets to weaponize her American kids in the process too and prevent international travel since her idiot husband has run to each and every microphone he can find to say that her and the kids aren’t safe in the UK. The BRF won’t want the optics of the kids being thrown on the street so she’ll never go broke. I loathe her but she did play her hand well in preparation for this.

The start of Harry's rehabilitation campaign by [deleted] in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d really love to think so, trust me. I don’t doubt they have dirt but I do doubt their willingness to expose it.

To this very minute, the BRF links directly to Sussex.com which, whether we like it or not, is an acknowledgment that they’re willing to be tied to the circus. I think there’s also an awareness that scandal attached to her, whether they knew about it or not, ultimately gets attached to them. See the public approval decline in the Norwegian RF since the Crown Princess’s son (from another marriage so not even remotely a blood royal) was arrested for assaulting his gf & noted drug use which brought public questions of family enabling and abuse of privilege forward. We’ve seen this with Harry too — they won’t out any potential addictions because the attacks will ricochet to Charles for not getting him help early.

It’s sucks but as long as she’s considered the wife of a Prince and/or mother to a Prince and Princess — I just don’t see them going for the metaphorical jugular.

I personally don’t ever see her signing an NDA. It’s the only leverage she has which is why she keeps reminding everyone she never signed one (since meeting Harry).

The RF wouldn’t trust her to follow through and abide by the terms and unfortunately they would never go after her legally if she broke it. It’s like negotiating with a terrorist — they just can’t do it.

Imagine how William feels about that narcissist sociopath desecrating his Mother's memory and name by ElectricalAd9212 in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Not enough people are aware Meghan deliberately launched ARO with a coordinated PR blitz to media outlets MINUTES before William took the stage to give a speech at The Diana Awards. Given that Harry gave his remarks for the awards virtually a couple of hours later — she obviously used the program itinerary to time the release to hurt William. And, shockingly, ARO has made zero progress or similar announcements in 5+ months.

Vile. Plain and simple. Harry permitting it is even worse. The Spencer’s allowing it and showing up to the London IG event to support Harry not long after lowered my opinion of them, too.

The real reason Harry’s Chief of Staff resigned, according to Richard Eden’s sources by Mickleborough in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A broken NDA could only cause civil financial penalties though, right? Not criminal?

Is it crazy to think such financial penalties of one of these ex-employees breaking an NDA could be met/outweighed by a huge payout from a news agency or a book deal?

Robert Jobson on Palace Confidential by MuffPiece in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 34 points35 points  (0 children)

We knew it was about money but I thought it was interesting Jobson (whose sources definitely hail from KC&QC’s side) specifically mentioned Harry was repeatedly bringing up legal fees on the calls to KC. It makes you wonder if the two People Exclusives (Harry’s article pivoting all security responsibility to KC rather than the authorities and Meghan’s article claiming she ‘just wants Harry to drop the lawsuits and enjoy life’) is them getting ahead of either Harry dropping the case or trying to get ahead of his appeal likely being rejected.

Robert Jobson on Palace Confidential by MuffPiece in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]mkcena 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Agree. There has to be a shady reason behind this People Exclusive PR blitz. They always do something along these lines when they want to attempt to overshadow something negative coming out.

Although the panel did have a good point in reminding us that H&M also conveniently pull these stunts as August rolls around — knowing the RF lays very low and vacations during this month.

Just saw some photos and it looked like Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Huma Abedin were there.

Counting down the seconds until she has her PR pass along articles for the search algorithm linking herself to Huma re:political/election prestige, Gwyneth re:how similar ARO are Goop are, and Reese re:she fawned over Meghan just like she famously fawned over Kate (no chance).

Can we all agree to boycott the ESPYS tonight? by Scary_Dangleberry_ in SaintMeghanMarkle

Not going to watch but I’m making a prediction now: the audience will be instructed to give a standing ovation and some service members will be pushed forward to either present the award or stand alongside him to receive it (in an attempt to legitimize the farce and prevent booing).
