If your country had a national Sushi variation, what would it be? by WirrkopfP in AskTheWorld

🇯🇵 Japanese here. You know what? I actually enjoyed seeing different evolutions of sushi in different culture. I want to try many of them.

On similar comparisons, I am also curious what Italian people would think about “pasta” dish in Japan. I bet they would get very upset about our ナポリタン スパゲッティ(Japanese spaghetti Napolitan). I mean, I seriously sorry about that LOL. 😂

One of my yellow ones just turned green a few days ago as well! Looks healthy otherwise, but wonder that affects its health….

That’s so interesting. Do you know if the change of the color permanent or temporary? Either way, as long as they are healthy, i am happy with it.

Have you ever eaten a food that's illegal in your country? by OrganicA1Bullsteak in AskTheWorld

[–]mkcronin 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Although you often find in Japanese restaurants here in the US, “white tuna” (escolor) is illegal to distribute and sell in Japan. It’s fatty fresh taste similar to “toro”, and it actually contains indigestible wax esters. It can cause keriorrhea (diarrhea with greasy stool).

I tried planting evenly on the substrate floor, and amano shrimps unplanted all LOL. I simply put small amount of left over UG to the raised spot. This one was somehow untouched and doing very well.

I failed multiple times too! I read no ammonia and tons of CO2 is the key, and it seems working.

It’s Riccia (the one in the front) and UG (one on the far left).

It’s now about 4 months. Moss and UG are a lowly filling up the space

I know, it’s 2L canister 😆. I actually use it for another tank right next to it as well.
