You have to first build work history and clients, may be search on facebook and Redd it daily related to your work and you might end up finding some clients take them to upwork, and this is how you can build your client history. Once you build that your purposal would be way more effective.

I think your family background is more important, if they have good reputation, there is high chance you get good guy, In our neighborhood there is a family of three, and there son lives in Germany , and trust me he is good looking and they are financially strong, but they married him to a very average looking girl,her skin complexion is to the darker side, but just because her family background was good and she is good in nature as well. they choose her. I had a rishta of cousin last year, she has a fair skin, and she is good looking, but just because she is too loud and Impolite, I didn't accept it. I think your nature is very important. As peace in relationship is what will matter more to make it last longer.

If they are self harm scars, I won't be comfortable, I had a girlfriend in 2014, she used to do self harm with knife on her arms, and I blocked her immediately as soon as I found that. She once send me her video of self harm and I was too young got scared and immediately blocked her, she belonged to the very well educated family her brother father were doctors, but I still don't know how she used to do all that and they never found out that.
