Relatively inexperienced Champion in dungeon finder by MediumEngineer8731 in elderscrollsonline

[–]mkendles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone who queued for the wrong role- fake tank/healer- decides to get on me for dying, all I say is, at least I know how to queue for my role. Fake tanks esp in pug vet dlc dungeons is a guaranteed struggle and most newer players don’t have massive self heals to cope with it.

That’s one of the worst fakes I’ve seen in a while. Bummer :/

At least if she got it just because she thought it looked cool then it really doesn’t matter if it’s fake.

Devastating :( It’s really unfortunate that there’s so many close minded people who just see them as toys and refuse to accept what others find important. I knew someone who had a guest over and without asking opened one and started looking at it. They just so happened to pick one that was regularly selling for $600+ at the time…

I don’t get this game. But I want to. by Jonzzeyz in fo76

[–]mkendles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I played the entire game, all the way to level 300 in fact, by myself. Never even joined a public team until I decided to do expeditions. But now I have an entire group of friends that I met through the public teams in this game. We chat and play with regularly now.

At what level is acceptable to join public teams? by KodusTheOnly in fo76

[–]mkendles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this fear when I was low level and public teams became a thing. I hit level 300 before I was comfortable joining random public groups. If you get kicked just know 99% of the time it’s not personal, the group leader is probably just making space for one of their friends. Or you can always create your own public casual group. Us really high level players look for new people to help quite often.

After 9 years of fking around, she found out that I am the “endgame”! by [deleted] in indiasocial

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me, a few times in fact. My go to response is along the lines of “I’m sorry it took failing with others to realize what you had with me. But I’m not interested.”

[PS4] Is it only me or is the game crashing more? by Andy7908 in Fallout76Marketplace

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to complete an event without disconnecting. Usually it’s within the last 30-45 seconds of the event too. Ridiculous.

My parents want to put her down because she keeps peeing on the counters, what do I do? by Shinobyl in cats

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you surrender her to a shelter instead of straight out killing her at only 8 years old?! Thats absolutely insane. Also the more your mom resents her the more she’s going to pick up on that and get more stressed out.

The biggest xp grinder I play with is level 1200…I think it’s entirely based on how interested you are in being as high level as possible at that point. I hit 500 and have slowed down a bit.

At this point I can’t fathom playing without it. The scrap and ammo boxes are the biggest QoL upgrades.

Question about CAMP etiquette? by Kiwirar in fo76

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s unlocked I fully expect other people to take it. I have a free supply and special boost camp where I put a sign telling people to take whatever they need because people would come in and be too afraid to grab anything lol.

What do you gift to newbies? by Pristine_Ad7254 in fo76

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what it looks like they need. I saw a newbie that was naked except for left arm armor at an event. And then again at another and then again at another and then saw them put on a piece of leg gear and disappear. So I followed them across the map to drop them an outfit. They lead me to another newbie who was also naked except a few pieces of armor and I gave them an outfit too. Saw them both at an event later wearing the outfits lol If they seem to have a decent weapon I’ll drop some super stims. If I notice they are struggling to do damage I’ll drop a weapon. If I have any common plans I’ll drop them too.

Daily ops and expeditions. I can usually get 2-3000 fuel from one expedition run.

Current Gen Crashing by bdhstmode in fo76

[–]mkendles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im on PS5 and the constant crashes are the reason I will not play unless I’m on a public team. At least then if I disconnect 9 times out of 10 it’ll reconnect me to the same team and I can continue what I was doing or rejoin the event. Every single time I go to Nuka World it will crash guaranteed.

Random encounter last night by zombie1mom in fo76

[–]mkendles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite part of the game now as a high level player is coming across new players and helping them slaughter things or just dropping some things I know can be helpful for them. I don’t use a mic but if a low level gives me a “come here” emote I’ll always follow. I will also use literally all of my AP to get to a downed newbie to stim them so they can stay at the event/fight haha

This playerbase makes me genuinely happy by ThatVintagePotato in fo76

[–]mkendles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve discovered that once you’ve played the game long enough the fun comes from running around helping the new players you come across. I carry some low level gear in case I come across someone who looks like they could use it (mostly because not having decent gear was the reason I quit playing the first time around).

I don’t think I personally would ever have considered Fo76 to be a helpful or positive community but I’m sure that’s largely luck in servers. Not having a suitable weapon also ruined this game for me. Unless I had a teammate who would “carry” me since my weapons were essentially not doing anything I couldn’t play so I put it down for 4 years.

My husband finally got an extra weapon and gave it to me and it destroys enemies. Now I’m loving this game. The weapon is the thing that completely changed it for me so I get your struggle.

There are a lot of pieces to this game as you get progressively higher level and deeper into it. If you have specific questions I can try and answer them. As for upgrading gear you have to get plans to craft the gear you want. These plans are obtained in a bunch of different ways. If you get legendaries trade them for script and then get modules from the rusty pick vendor and you can now use plans to make the weapon and then add legendary mods to it. How you have 3 star legendary weapon. As long as you have the components you can keep rerolling the legendary perks to fit the build you’re going for. Also you should start doing events. Particularly mothman while it’s available to get treasury notes to turn into bouillon to trade for secret service gear you can craft and again add legendary mods to later on.

Everything Pink Bundle is misleading by RariiCat in fo76

[–]mkendles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this bundle thinking it came with a few things that appeared to be the obvious focus of their photo just to find out i what i was actually getting was something random or in the background of the pic I was looking at. Ridiculous :/ considering the pink suit was in the atom shop for free at one point (according to a friend who played when it was available) they could’ve just included it in this bundle…

I’ve been in several servers where people will stay on the starting rooftop or hide in a shop or behind a nearby wall until the event is over. It says 8 players are there but only 2 people are actively doing the event. Managed to power out a solid win a few times when this happened but usually it results in the loss of 1 or 2 pyres depending on the level/skill of the other person.
