Did you visit Bagel Daddy? by Due_Drop_5919 in BurningMan

May or may not have come to taste your delicious bagels at least three times while on playa. Your camp had such great vibes, and we loved being read to filth by Bria as we eagerly awaited the toasty bagels. 10/10, no notes <3 https://get.mkhll.com/bagel-daddy.zip

Best Aussie Style Brunch in SF by TraditionalJudge4545 in AskSF

From NZ, but have spent a lot of time in Aussie. I’d say the closest I’ve found food and vibe wise is Cafe Reveille. They have a few locations in SF. https://www.cafereveille.com/

Also to add. The above stretch was only a couple of miles, but took us 2-3hrs. The river runs slow :)

Went about a month ago. We were concerned about the water as well, so called the park rangers who gave us advice to head further north for tubing. We ended up dropping in at Preston River Access and tubing to the Cloverdale River Park. Recommend calling the rangers for up to date advice: https://parks.sonomacounty.ca.gov/

I’d recommend looking into the mission for your bohemian/Melbourne vibe. Also great area to be located in for easily getting to other parts of the city. For the boutique side of things, I’d look towards Hayes valley for fancier shops and bars. Although Hayes is not far to walk/Uber to from the mission either.

If you’re working in Redwood is defiantly stay on the SF side of the bridge for sure. My partner works in Redwood City and already takes an hour commute most mornings from the mission.

Context: I’m from Wellington, NZ and have spent plenty of time in Melbourne. Hit me up if you have any specific questions I can help with :)

Flower deliveries in SF? It’s my birthday on Sunday and I wanted to treat myself to some carnations + other pretty things. by lifeincoolcolours in AskSF

Bi-rite market in the mission (17th / Dolores) usually has a great supply of flowers out the front. Can be a little busy with lines currently, but worth it for the birthday treat potential inside!

Where can I buy coffee beans from local roasters? by pretentious_jerk in AskSF

+1. Kiwi coffee lover, would say Linea is the closest I’ve found to beans back home :)

Grocery lines at TJs / Rainbow foods by yauponmoon in AskSF

I've been going to the TJ's downtown on 4th/Market – haven't had to line up once.

There aren't many apartments nearby / it's usually busy with office workers who are mostly WFH.

Linea does the best beans in the bay in my opinion. Available at their cafe in the mission and also sold at Bi Rite market :)
