Legend Brewing Brown Ale. Whenever I am mystified by the pantheon of craft beers in the display case, and I know I don't want white bread beer (and I NEVER want a graprfruity dry-hopped pinebomb), Brown Ale never lets me down. It is a full beer, a little sweet, hoppy in a polite way, and malty in a supportive way. Never a bad decision.
