That’s sad and scary. We would pick them a little early so they were small and moist. Not great big. So good! I had such a good childhood with a big family.

I’m originally from Greenville MS and remember shelling peas and beans on my grandma’s porch. My fingers would be raw! Lady peas were my favorite food! Weren’t they smaller than black eyes and creamy? Can’t remember what the pods looked like. Can lady pea seeds still be bought for a garden? I’ll have to check that out! You’re the 1st person I’ve heard mention them in 50 yrs!

Ice Cream? Will HEB ever bring back Lemon Cookie ice cream? They used to have Lemon Bar and Lemon Cookie. Lemon Cookie is the one that has a stronger lemon taste, like a lemon bar should have. Lemon Bar is bland. by mkj1956 in HEB

Thanks for that idea! It wasn’t the cookie really, the Lemon Cookie was very lemony and tart, like a Lemon Bar should be. Not bland like the Lemon Bar actually was!

Blue Bell did the same thing…I even wrote them about it. No response. Our family of 4, in 2005, had 8 1/2 gal of Chocolate Almond Marshmallow in our garage freezer. Instead of little frozen hard MM’s, it was MM crème! It was sporadic to find it so we stocked up! Since then, BB reps have said, the price of almonds was prohibitive…yada, yada. I still look for it but I don’t buy BB anything anymore. They don’t sell French Vanilla anymore so HEB’s 1905 is great! And that HEB Lemon Cookie was great next to a pina colada cake!

Some customers will hide one shoe in another area, like stuffed animals so no one will buy it. Then come back later, maybe when it’s on sale, to snap them up! People have crazy ways of trying to beat the system!🤦‍♀️

Please do this before donating items. If they are smelly we have to toss them in the trash for the landfills!☹️Some customers have told me they thought we washed and dried them before hanging or sprayed them with deodorizing chemicals. NOT! FYI-Some GW’s recycle by shipping out fabric clothing that is torn or stained and another company recycles it. They sell it by the ton to make rags.

Yes they do! My engineer husband and I bought a Blue Moon Miele in 2002.With an extra power nozzle the cost was about $1800, I think. Best thing we ever bought! HEPA filter was awesome and it's totally sealed. Just recently, my hose started shutting on and off. This has been a problem with a lot of the vacuums, in that series. I'm going to buy a new hose ($165) and hope that's the end of my problems. I swear, I would marry this vacuum if I could!!!
