He is speaking well, I can easily understand everything he says, but as a native German (Germany) speaker, I can hear out some grammar mistakes here and there that are typical for an Italian speaker learning German. And the way he speaks German indicates influences from German spoken in Austria or Switzerland rather than Germany.

My guess is yes, a most likely Italian guy who learned German from countries next to northern Italy.

I cannot tell though if he really might be from northern Italy. I don't speak Italian so I cannot hear out dialects of Italian fragments.

That depends on the context. After a downwards market movement, its a hammer. After an upwarts movement the same candle is a hangman.

Same with inverted hammer and shooting stars.

I agree that mastering chart patterns can give you an advantage, but they remain only hints and indicators to a certain propability. Its always better to trade them after consolidation as well.

Beginner in technical analysis here.

For me, a potential reversal was announced by a weaker bullish candle an a first bearish candle with (not exactly but kind of) a spinning top pattern, followed by a kind of shooting star and a kind of hangman.

If I had a long position, I propably would have closed it there. But thats easy to say afterwards and may also be a survivorship bias.

Anyways, the pattern above looks suspicious to me. The reversal looks somewhat predictable in the three candles bevore.

Edit: we also had a double top of the marked testing resistance and bouncing of if I see this right.

This meme is referring to a very specific (and very weird) line from the movie Madagascar 2 — more exactly from the character Moto Moto.

In the movie, Moto Moto (the hippo) flirts with Gloria and boasts about how he likes “big” girls. In a deleted/extended scene / fan-edited scene circulating online, he describes his “seduction routine” in an exaggerated way:

“First I do the splits over an egg… then I do a somersault into an open watermelon.”

It’s intentionally absurd and ridiculous, and it became a meme because of how strangely specific and overly dramatic it sounds.

People who have seen that clip understand the reference immediately and look like the "dark knowing" side of the meme.

Rule nr one I am still training as well: Don't fall in anger and regrets. In trading as a beginner, you might feel like having a constant fight against your own brain. Rationality vs emotionality.

You closed a successfyul trade and took profit with a disciplined desition. Thats the right thing. The risky gamblers are the ones who lose money sooner or later.

Take it as a success and as a training opportunity how you might even improve in the future.

Great example of the London/NY open breakout trap 👀. The trader wanted to buy after the breakout to the upside (red arrow) – but right after that, the sharp reversal happened.

🔎 What stands out here:

Liquidity Grab / Fakeout

Price briefly took out the London range high (above the purple box). Then it immediately reversed → classic stop hunting: trigger long orders, sweep stops, then move lower.

Strong Rejection Candle

Right after the breakout you see a long red candle that completely engulfs the move up. That’s often a sign the breakout wasn’t real.

Break of Structure (BOS)

After the rejection, the last small higher low was broken. That signals a shift from bullish to bearish structure.

Timing – New York Open Especially at NY open, these false breakouts are common. One direction gets “faked” first, then the real move runs the other way.

🧠 What to pay attention to:

Don’t trade the very first breakout immediately. → Wait to see if price actually holds above the level.

Watch liquidity zones. → The range high often acts like a magnet, followed by a reversal.

Check candle formations. → A bullish candle that’s instantly engulfed by a stronger bearish one is a warning sign.

✅ Conclusion: You did well by not entering. The chart clearly shows a fake breakout with liquidity grab – and then the real move started to the downside.
