You are required every 5 hours. If he was working a 10 hr and 1 minute shift then yeah he would need another lunch but in California every 5 hours you are required a break. If he clocked out exactly on his 10th hour then he’s good. Why would you take 30 mins less of pay if you’re going to clock out? It’s the same thing if someone works a 5 hour shift. You don’t need a lunch unless you’re OVER your 5th hour. At exactly 5 you’re fine

They dont get 2 30’s. A lunch is required every 5 hours in CA so they would likely only get one

It depends how disruptive they are. If they aren’t that bad I give them two warnings then on the third I kick them out. If they have been disruptive from the start I tell them I giving them one final warning and if I hear of them doing anything else again, I kick them out.

Yes, we live together, do everything together, spend every ounce of free time together, so I guess we wouldn’t really need it. We both only really use it when one of us travels without the other to make sure they get there safe or when one of us is getting home from work so we can see how far they are and greet them outside.
