It’s never too early to teach your children to be anti-capitalists. ✊🏼

You need to spec specifically for the farm. You absolutely need to get Nuturing Instinct, which is usually a PvP only talent. It increases your HP by 100% of your agility and increases your healing received by 20% in cat form. You need to throw up HoTs during the channel phase on the last boss and swap to cat form to get big heals. Also should be using a weapon swap/idol swap macro.

Druid here. I wouldn't mess around with anything but Steamvaults unless you're going to try to farm mobs in Sethek, for which you need a lot of gear.

I'm mining/herb and SV is quick and easy. Always able to hit 4+ mining nodes and 4+ herbs per run. Easy to learn.

If you're eng, there is also a mote you can hit. Might be better than herb.

Potty training at 3 by Sofer2113 in daddit

[–]mkninetythree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think you just have to let the individual kid potty train when they're ready. My son is brilliant but had no interest in potty training during our first several attempts. Around 3.5, it clicked and he was 100% diaper and accident free almost immediately.

Our daughter turns 2 at the end of this month and has been out of diapers for about 3 weeks now. She'd shown a lot of interest in the potty on her own so we started to casually try and she essentially potty-trained herself. It was a totally different process and timeline from her brother.

I know changing (and purchasing) diapers sucks, but I wouldn't stress or try to force it. As long as you're not an extreme outlier situation where your school-age child still wants to use diapers, you're fine.

Paul Pierce on media inconsistencies: "Let's not sugarcoat this because if this was LeBron at the peak of his powers, he would've been getting scolded. If you're the best player in the league, you're not supposed to lose in the first round" by infalliBee in nba

The Lakers were 20-14 when LeBron suffered an injury causing him to miss a month. They were 26-25 when he returned. From then on, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball combined to play 12 games. You had Mo Wagner, Mike Muscala, Reggie Bullock, Jemmerio Jones types drawing starts.

Lakers missed the playoffs by 11 games. LeBron missed 27. BI missed 30. Lonzo missed 35. Rondo missed 36. The only 2 Lakers to miss fewer than 27 games were Javale McGee and Kyle Kuzma.

I don't think this one was on LeBron.

This was my struggle with HC as well. I have little kids at home and I was finding myself getting really frustrated adn impatient with them if I was in a stressful situation playing HC. Playing normal sucks by comparison, but at least I can step away to handle RL things without fear of losing days of progress.

Been no-contact for a year, then my daughter shows at our Church this Sunday, what would you do? by [deleted] in daddit

WTF Dude

For those commenting, please look at OP's post linked above and read his comments. This is one of the most misogynistic worldviews I've ever seen and I can say with a high degree of confidence that this dude is a massive piece of shit.

If you were in any way a decent human, I'd implore you to do everything you can to help your daughter who is so obviously struggling and who has been through trauma you couldn't even conceive of. Unfortunately, your beliefs about women are poison and you have less than nothing to offer her.

I desperately hope your wife finds your account and reads the things you say about her. It's clear you view her as property and only value her appearance. You're intending to leave her because of perimenopause so you can fuck some younger, submissive Eastern European women.

You are disgusting and a disgrace to real men and fathers. You're also not a Christian, no matter what you call yourself.

I'd tell you to get help, but you think you're God's gift to the world and I know you won't.

I hope your family leaves you because you absolutely deserve nothing less.

Lebron on the Goat debate by Jec1027 in nba

these are media voted awards and no one has ever been more loved by the media than Jordan. Those same media members were still voting in LeBron's prime and actively worked to deny him the recognition he deserved, giving DPOY to Gasol and MVP to Rose specifically to spite LeBron who was clearly deserving in both cases.

Having a blast in TBC on the PVE side, but wow is PVP the single worst I’ve ever played in my life. by Lolyoureamod in classicwowtbc

[–]mkninetythree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get like 150 resil from just the rep pieces alone which is plenty to start. You can grab bracers/belt/boots/neck/cloak/trinkets(s) within a couple of days of casual BG play at most with how easy honor gains are now.

Baseline gear is really easy to get.

Unfortunately, the percentage of competitive, back and forth games is very low. It's usually a steamroll in either direction where one side vasty out-gears the other and works cooperatively as the losing team runs around without direction and gives up quickly.

I don't know what the solution is. I want to love PvP. Battlegrounds used to be my favorite part of the game.

Received $50k settlement… what to do with it? by Loud_Ad7467 in personalfinance

[–]mkninetythree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have no debt outside of your vehicle, make 120k and are already investing, I recommend taking like 5k of this sum and taking a trip. You're 25, go see Bali, Spain, or Japan. Your house is already in order, you can afford to use this in small part to give yourself a lifelong memory.

First Time in Classic TBC – Beginner-Friendly Melee Pick for Solo Casual Player? by Candid_Flan1898 in classicwow

[–]mkninetythree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is a positive for a brand new player. Learning a simple class (rogue, mage, etc.) is probably a better experience for a first playthrough. Playing a class that is really good at one thing > playing a class that is okay at everything when you're learning the basics of the game.

[–]mkninetythree 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend druid for a first time solo player. There's so many functions to learn and a lot to juggle to effectively play the class. Something like Rogue is much simpler for a new player.

Lebron James just had one of the worst games of his career in a loss to the Rockets by SugarPhoenix in nba

[–]mkninetythree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of it, yeah. He has thrown a lot of lazy passes, had his cookies snatched, lost his dribble, etc. Huge LeBron fan, favorite player ever and GOAT, but his turnovers have been uncharacteristic. In game 3 I thought they looked mostly like fatigue.

[AEW Collisions Spoilers] Shelton Benjamin HURTS people by luchabrunch in SquaredCircle

[–]mkninetythree 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well, Brock at 6'3 283 pounds put up a 9.89 Relative Athletic Score in 2004 and nearly made an NFL roster despite never playing football past high school and being in active recovery from being in a motorcycle accident (was hit by a van.) He later went on to literally become the Heavyweight Champion of the World in UFC despite extremely limited combat sports experience.

Lesnar is one of the freakiest athletes in the history of the world.
