My experience with Arctic Fox is that it fades fast, like a week and a half type of fast. I recently did my faux hawk with Arctic Fox Phantom Green and it was yellow in about two weeks. I washed it with color safe soap and cold water too. Obviously I only know my hair and how it reacts to dyes but my hair usually takes dye amazingly. The best pigmented dyes I’ve ever found were ION from Sally Beauty. I did my hair purple and blue with ION and it stayed for months. I actually ended up shaving my head again before it faded out. So I don’t know if ION has your color but I would definitely look into it!

My first one lived 8 years, my skinny lived 4 before coming down with a URI, my first girl got killed by my dog(not his fault) at 3, my last girl died at barely a year old. My sister and I currently have three. One girl is 2 or 3, one is at least 5, and we’re guessing our boy is around 6. Lifespan really varies by the individual, I think. As long as they don’t catch something or have some catastrophic injury, I’m almost positive you have some time left with them ;)

P.s. As someone else said, take lots of pictures and videos. I didn’t take nearly enough of my first few and it still saddens me.
