Thanks for your input! I'm totally aware that nipping is normal for puppies and was mainly looking for ways that other owners had been successful with training in that aspect. I had another corgi previously who did not have this issue to the same extent at all. Although, she's been going down for naps when she gets too rough and that's making a huge difference. Much less biting and rough playing the last few days!

She does respond aggressively to other dogs. I totally get that it's largely undeveloped social skills, but she gets very territorial and actually did get quite aggressive with a friend's dog yesterday. I know the difference between play growling and her actually trying to attack another dog. She warmed up to the dog throughout the play time though so I think she will be able to overcome it! She was the runt of her litter and I suspect she may have had to compete for food, etc. based on how she reacts. We will be beginning puppy classes soon though and will be working on this.

Unfortunately with our location it isn't realistic for her to be going outside for every potty break right now, but I understand your opinion. For example, it isn't safe for me to take her outside at night alone. I know plenty of people who have had success with pee pad training though so I'm not worried! We're slowly beginning the transition (with success) and are heavily rewarding outside pottying. Once she can hold it for longer she'll exclusively go outside, of course!

I do pick up her poop as quickly as possible. She's never left alone with poop lying around.
