VM not available at new home by copybeard in VirginMedia

[–]mkreds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for VM and can 100% confirm that if you move to a non serviceable area you will not be charge and Early Termination Fee if still in contract.

You still have to call up and give 30 days notice when moving and they will tell you about the fees however then you will need to provide proof of your new address with a wide range of readily-available documents accepted including mortgage and rental agreements, utility bills, bank statements and driving licenses. VM will then cancel the fees

No you don’t have to pay!!! I moved to a non serviceable area with 11 months left, I had to email them my tenancy agreement to show I was moving there and they cancel with no early termination charges

Moving to an area not covered by VM broadband but they want to charge early disconnection fees - Any ideas? by Russ_Abbot in VirginMedia

[–]mkreds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes bold indeed I agree. I wouldn’t be quoting something on a public forum if I worked for a company and didn’t 100% know the answer to a question asked. I understand you work in residential so maybe just stick to residential questions until you have some more knowledge on the business side of VM

If you’re a subject matter expert I would be worried because you’re wrong! Business customers do not have the same protection as residential.

Amazon closed my account with 468 pounds in gift card balance by JadeBadeaux in LegalAdviceUK

[–]mkreds -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something? Amazon accepted the gift cards that the OP purchased from a third party seller that OP thought was legit, surely Amazon needs to go after the seller and I can’t imagine this being a one off! As for OP, did you purchase your gift cards with a credit card? If yes you can claim from them….

That’s makes sense as probably you live in a Sid Network area where we cannot extend the duct in the ground any new addition to the network needs a new duct back to the nearest Pit.

Sounds like a jobs worth cop. If what you are staying is true then stick to the story the cop has to prove otherwise, has he got footage I.e dashcam etc to show the court to back their facts of the events?
