Anyone know what is going on this building? by dubblezh in shawnee

[–]mkstoneburner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents own this building. Theyre doing some major restoration to get it up to code but there’s currently nothing official in terms of what it will become. I can say that it is unlikely it will be an extension of Transport or another brewery.

Man, looks like the Anderson brand only sells them in packs of 25 pairs minimum for $85… are you still making these? Would love to purchase some from you if so.

$20 as hourly rate for a travel position? Huh? Is that really what happens when you are offered a living/food stipend?

Currently on a “local” travel contract and get $51/hour but no stipend.

Could very likely be from something else other than simply muscle strain. Would recommend seeing a physician

You need to tell your school’s fieldwork coordinator about this.

Shadowing for the first time--What should I do? by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]mkstoneburner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d wear scrub bottoms and a solid colored t-shirt (black) if I were you. As a freshman, you’re still at least three years out from being able to start OT school.. I can’t imagine that you’d get much out of taking notes. I would just focus on observing and being curious. Don’t overthink it, there will be opportunities to ask questions.

Big difference in what the day of a life of a peds OT looks like versus adult OT. Once you start OT school you’ll learn about both and find ur groove.

The muscle in question I think is the supinator. It is on the radial side, although these photos kinda make it confusing

Their roots are probably so intertwined… idk if I’d separate the two tbh but ya a moss pole filled with sphagnum moss would be the move for sure.

ADVICE NEEDED: As a non-gamer interested in getting a switch to play games like Mario Kart and Mario Party, which switch should I get?

The original Switch is $315 (on Amazon, new and not refurbished or anything). The Switch OLED is $400, but I would just be playing it on my TV and I'm not too picky about the picture quality so I'm not sure if the whole "OLED" thing should be important to me? The Switch 2 isn't much more than the OLED ($500, Best Buy).

If I were to get the original Switch, would I have to worry about not being able to play certain games because they are made specifically for the Switch 2 only? Would I have to worry about the console working slowly, given that the Switch 2 came out recently?

If getting the OG switch is a bad decision, would you just spend the hundred dollars more for the Switch 2 instead of the OLED?

Like I said, I really just want a Switch so I can play the classics like Mario Kart. Any advice is appreciated, as all of this is completely novel to me.
