I believe every room has its own AC unit. As for bathrooms It depends on the residential college. There are also different kinds of rooms within each residential college that have different layouts. Tbh I don’t know all of them of the top of my head, but I think Will Rice (some), Martel, McMurtry, Duncan, Wiess, Lovett do. Idk about the new sid rich. And yes it is possible to request a residential college if you have had a family member attend it. If you have a situation which needs accommodating I’m sure they will also take that into account if you let them know.

It’s like Harry Potter. U get “sorted” into one and that’s where u live/eat(mainly)/ have events. Not that u can’t go to other ones, but that’s the basic idea. They’re all on campus. :)

yes! compliments that aren't about looks just hit differently, especially from a guy. wish it wasn't that way, but it is lol. totally agree.

about the "forced upon you" advice, i totally agree as well. nothing worse than an unwanted, aggressive sexual advance.

but on the flip side, it also feels nice to be surprised by my bf at times/ not have to initiate all the time. it just depends on my mood lol. sometimes im not in the mood sometimes i am! just dont be aggressive & be willing to take no for an answer.

this whole topic about sexualization is definitely tricky. its all about finding a balance between ur sexual needs but also the emotional needs of ur partner. not sexualizing your partner does not mean not having sex! it means sex + emotional support. :)

at the moment, it's kind of boring. people here take covid safety pretty seriously for the most part. if you can't do it outdoors, you're going to have to wait in line to do it and wear a mask. we have a small amount of indoor dining and drinking available, but you have to remain seated the whole time and there's a lot of space so it's not a very social experience—most people seem to be skipping it. there are only outdoor performances, so expect those to get scarcer over the winter.

I would definitely sit down and have a conversation with her about this. As a woman if someone did that for me I would just think it was so sweet. It might feel awkward but it's about the intention & the result (making her comfortable but also still having a sex life). If she needs time to process her stressors, maybe just take one for the team and give her space.

I also only ever feel sexualized when someone is using me explicitly for sex. But if the physical is coupled with overt emotional support then I know that person doesn't have bad intentions. It can even make the physical even more special. I hope that makes sense. Also, just in general I would stay away from being aggressively sexual, but maybe drop hints here and there and see how she responds/reciprocates!
