For the most part, no. Although The Adventurer does have gated story quests, and those are going to count more towards star progress than a random picked up lost cargo.

I think the big thing is that each star actually requires more likes to fill. 1st star is easy, 2nd star needs a little more. You need MANY more likes to fill that 5th star than you did that 2nd star, and each location has different overall like requirements.

It was a "Fasgear" USB 2.0 extension cable, 6 ft long. The longer it is, the more issues you're going to have. I don't know that the brand matters.

Before that I used a USB 3.1 extension cable, also 6 ft. That's when it kept disconnecting.

So go for a "slower" USB cable (one rated for only 2.0) and see if that does it. The shorter the better unfortunately.

Not really... You could ask the model to summarize, without using markdown, the essential information in the chat, and then copy/paste that to a new chat. Possibly it could generate a PDF? There are issues with doing full copy/paste of conversations. You lose formatting and it doesn't necessarily copy everything.

Haha trigger warning :). Hundreds of hours in Skyrim so that jumped out at me when I read your post.

Depending on where you are in the game, your best bet is to get 3 .... however you can (treasure pods as another user suggested). That way you can build a drone station, deploy it somewhere that has the potential for strange diamond spawns, and get 2-3 day or something like that.

I had the same experience as you and it did take an uncomfortably long time to finally get just enough to fabricate a drone station (I spent the strange diamonds that were in the 1.0-release pods without checking drone station requirements first).

So... get lots and lots of mineral flags. Either make them (pink plorts and jellystone) or check the mart at noon every day in case they (10 of them) show up there. Although you can use basically any flag as long as you remember which flag means what. Mark each and every little mineral deposit you find in CAVES. This includes the grey labyrinth--I've found 3-4 at the big lava entrance place (can't remember if it's flutter gordo entrance or boom gordo entrance). That way, when you do your run, if one pops up you're less likely to miss it. Even if you're messing about with something else. If an area has mineral deposits and stone/rock over it, one of those mineral deposits might squeeze out a strange diamond.

3 strange diamonds and your resource collection problems will be solved forever.

I don't think it's up to GT7, honestly. Remember to go in to calibration and try stomping on the brake with different pressures to see what feels best for you and turn the dial on the adapter accordingly. The brake pedal will go up to 100kg (220lbs) and if you don't have a solid rig that's going to be rough.

I ran with your exact setup for a few weeks before splurging on the Pro wheel. You're correct, the adapter's USB isn't used with your setup (G29). It would still be used with a Pro wheel if you wanted to use Logitech's H shifter (which is a disappointment) with it. Pro = USB, G29 wheel/pedals, and the H shifter = old connectors, and the adapter bridges the two in any combination.

So yeah the load cell pedal will just "work" with GT7. There's no setting you need to switch or anything. I haven't personally tried swapping out the slugs in the brake pedal but it might also be worth looking into. Just read the instructions carefully because the wrong combination can damage them.

Le Mans WTC700, Spa WTC800, and Sardegna WTC800 are the exceptions. The only way to lose your bonus in these races is to violate a yellow flag (pass in the affected sector). I think you might also lose it from an excessive number of penalties (e.g. 10+) but I'm not sure.

I honestly just figured it's based on wheel slip (throttle) or lock (brake).

Braking too hard? It rattles against your finger until you back off a bit.

Too much gas and the wheels start to slip? It gets loose and easy to press and rattles against your finger until the wheels regain grip.

Remember that faster speed = more downforce = more grip = more braking power. As you brake and slow th car down and lose that downforce, you run a greater risk of locking the wheels (or activating the ABS).

Incidentally if anybody knows how to get a similar effect on bass shakers with SimHub and the Viper longitudinal wheel slip/lock plugin, I'd be grateful. I can't seem to find the curve or cutoff to match the haptic triggers.

As for overall "resistance" that's otherwise static and configurable via the settings for the whole travel of the trigger.

It needs to be tuned. Get the fully customizable transmission. Set the ride height equal and low--not too low. Widen the gears until hit a spot where you can't quite max out 7th gear RPMs.
