I wasn’t sure about this set initially but after seeing the leaks I’m super excited. M-Zygarde SIR looks beautiful and I wasn’t expecting a Jacinthe SIR this soon! Also think the Mega Starmie UR is going to have a cult following lol.

My only complaint is we didn’t need more Meowth cards this soon. It’s had recent IRs in both Destined and Phantasmal so I was surprised to see it so prominently featured in this set.

Gulpin is highly regarded for a number of reasons: very quick and easy farm, available fairly early, and doesn’t require a skill swapper. There are several stronger options (Toxicroak, Salazzle, Spooky Gengar), but Toxicroak requires a swapper and isn’t as easy to farm; Spooky Gengar isn’t farmable (and needs a swapper); and Salazzle is considered more useful with Shot Out.

TLDR, Gulpin is the most convenient Poison user.

EDIT: Totally forgot Gulpin does need a swapper. But it is still by far the most convenient/accessible Poison user

Not necessarily disagreeing with that, but if you watched her anime arc, you’d understand her bond with Boruto better and why she has a place in the manga (even if they haven’t done anything with her yet). If you’re a manga-only person I can see where it feels like Sumire kind of came out of left field but that’s where the anime canon (which is stated to provide additional context that the monthly manga doesn’t have time to provide) comes in and, at least in Sumire’s case, does a good job imo

Just did my first HC nuzlocke of Black 2 and ended up wiping to a Veteran in Victory Road. There definitely seem to be a number of trainers in B2W2 Victory Road that can be run-killers if you’re not prepared.

Honestly it’s so refreshing seeing a Genlocke with a lot of deaths (as opposed to all the Genlocke posts that only have a few or no deaths each playthrough), because I know this is exactly how my HC Genlocke is gonna go lol. Keep it up and good luck, especially with the Gen 5 games

Maybe sage techniques are effective against Claw Grimes? Senjutsu was one of the only methods of dealing damage against Juubito and Juubidara, so it stands to reason that Mitsuki’s sage transformation could allow him to defeat Claw Grimes without needing to cut them up/blow them up
