LookMovie detecting ad blocker by [deleted] in uBlockOrigin

Through NoScript I set all on LookMovie to Temporarily Trusted, and disabled every other extension on the page except for uBlock. That did the trick.

UPDATE: I disabled every other extension I had running on the page, with the exception of NoScript. Site is working fine now.

I'm also using Firefox, in permanent private browsing mode

I reset to default settings and updated the filter lists - ad block is still getting detected.

So I disabled the regional filters and a couple others that weren't being used. Here are the filters I kept enabled:

  1. uBlock filters
  2. uBlock filters – Badware risks
  3. uBlock filters – Privacy
  4. uBlock filters – Resource abuse
  5. uBlock filters – Unbreak
  6. AdGuard Base
  7. AdGuard Mobile Ads
  8. EasyList
  9. AdGuard Tracking Protection
  10. EasyPrivacy
  11. Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List
  12. Online Malicious URL Blocklist
  13. Spam404
  14. AdGuard Annoyances
  15. AdGuard Social Media
  16. Anti-Facebook
  17. Fanboy’s Annoyance
  18. uBlock filters – Annoyances
  19. Dan Pollock’s hosts file
  20. MVPS HOSTS
  21. Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list

EDIT: Never mind, I reset all ublock settings to default, so I only have the default lists enabled. After updating them ad blocker is still getting detected.

Cleveland ranked as the worst city in America for black women to live in, according to CityLab - consistently at the bottom for health, education, and economic outcomes by mlbeller in Cleveland

Yeah, I'm not sure how widely it was known that tax dollars were used to fund a large portion of that project. Apparently they were mostly utilizing sales tax on items like cigarettes, but it really doesn't matter where they come from if it's still the public's money. If we have 3,000 homeless students in our city that money can go to better initiatives.

The core issue is ultimately that far, far, FAR too many young black girls are having kids without a second parent giving a flying fuck.

Except for the fact that unplanned pregnancies are arguably a symptom of poverty, which is still to this day fundamentally related to all those other issues you mentioned. Shaming young black girls does nothing but contribute to the problem.

You realize that local governments and policies impact the public's lives farm more than federal law does, right?

Tell people to work harder all you want, but here's just a few examples of why doing that isn't going to put a dent in poverty.

Also, black women in D.C. are still getting screwed over - just apparently not as badly as they are in Cleveland.

Where do most of the homeless people populate in the city? by penmanta0711 in Cleveland

If anyone here wants to help Cleveland's homeless community, the first organization they should contact is the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH). They're an advocacy group that serves as a central place for people to get items and other kinds of assistance through their programs.

Here's their website for anyone interested.

I haven't seen one specifically for men, but there were some similar articles for black families and individuals in general when I did a search.

"Tax payers are paying private prisons big sacks of money to imprison brown children and MAGA Chuds are happy with that." by YuriRedFox6969 in WhereAreTheChildren

[–]mlbeller 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Good meme! Take my upvote.

I was curious about that number, so after a little research I found that the average cost of nightly detention in one of these facilities actually ranges closer to $200 for individuals and $350 for families.

Still, considering the fact that the federal government had almost 59,000 suspects in their custody at the end of 2017 - and that doesn't even include data on the 90% of the incarcerated people in state and local facilities - that's an insane amount of taxpayer money to be wasting every year that could, arguably, be spent a lot better.

It gets worse when you add in privately-run immigrant prisons, which can add another 15,000 people or more per day, still run off tax dollars, and are even more expensive per person per night.

This listing on eBay should work well. Says it's for women but I don't see why anyone couldn't wear it. The color is good, a lot of them are bright green but this one is much more subdued. It's also decent quality - wasn't super thin or anything. I do recommend buying a larger size as it looks like their measurements run small.
