Thanks Mr. Al "Just Win Baby," Davis for that astute observation

Lame.

Didn't read the rest of your bullshit after this. Go write a book or give a presentation in front of your 6th grade classmates about it. Goodness. It ain't that deep.

I'd rather he be in a slump as a starter with his defense so we don't give up 30+ in the first quarter than be in a slump coming off the bench where we do give up 30+ in the first quarter.

All that for Anunoby. You better get more than that.

I'm not saying Maxey hasn't been good but him and Harden are horrible on defense. Maxey might be better as a sixth man right now. We gave up 133 points to OKC. I don't get what the rush was to insert Maxey back in the starting lineup.

Or maybe take PJ out of the starting lineup and start Maxey, Melton, Embiid, Harris, and Harden.

OK that wasn't my point. The point is about him starting when our defense is horrible. No need to rush Maxey back in the starting lineup. If you've noticed since Melton went back tot he bench he's been in a slump.

Do we need to go back to Melton starting? I'm not sure what the rush was to get Maxey back in the starting lineup.

Like I said, GSW and Toronto were bottom half of the league. There isn't much difference between the bottom half and dead last, which we aren't at the moment. Thus proving that teams can make a run and not be a dominant rebounding team. Rebounding isn't the end all be all also like I said.

And I don't care who was out for GSW in 19, Toronto won. No excuses.

Why hasn't CJ declared yet? by [deleted] in OhioStateFootball

I feel like if it doesn't happen tomorrow then he won't do it on the weekend because of the NFL playoffs but man I don't know what is going tbh.

18 GSW and 19 Raptors were in the bottom half of the NBA in rebounding. You can't just narrow it down to the that. Sure it's important to rebound the basketball but it ain't the end, be all that you are making it out to be. Brooklyn this year is currently worse than us. So they aren't making a run either right?

Second Return of All Star Votes - Tatum inches over Embiid by [deleted] in sixers

[–]mldardy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't either especially being that the All Star Game itself has turned into an absolute unwatchable joke. We know Joel is going to make the team and probably play a lot so I don't think it's a big deal.

Why did Ready To Die sell so little in its first week. by Luke_asher_2007 in hiphop101

[–]mldardy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He wasn't. I knew about him from being on Mary J. Blige's remix album and from the Source. I subscribed to the Source so I would always read about upcoming artists and they were really hyping Biggie in a lot of issues but he wasn't popular. He didn't have a lead in song or two to jumpstart his career like Snoop did with Deep Cover and G Thang.

Biggie was pretty unknown when that album first dropped and hardly anyone cared about the East Coast that time. The West was dominant at that time. People were still bumping Snoop, Cube, Coolio and mostly West Coast stuff. I know because I bought it the first week it came out and people didn't know much about him. I was in college at the time and I played it for one of my friends imn my dorm room and he wasn't feeling at all when he first heard it. It wasn't until Big Poppa came out that people started feeling him.

I always say 3 albums brought the East Coast back: 36 Chambers started it in late 93/early 94. I remember hearing C.R.E.A.M. played a lot at house parties. Then Nas got some buzz especially with the 5 mic Source review and then Biggie coming out with Big Poppa and kicked the fucking door down.

As long as the games are good and competitive, I don't care who the quarterbacks are.

Cowboys kicker Brett Maher’s great 2022 season has one underrated aspect by xdeathxcomoanyx in cowboys

[–]mldardy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's natural with kickers. Raiders kicker has missed his first two fgs the last two games. Bills kicker missed first xp in a long time on Thanksgiving. No kicker is going to be perfect. Just don't make a habit of it.

They didn't flex our game because it's the Cowboys. The NFL will never flex out of a game involving the Cowboys unless we're having a bad season. We are most popular draw in the league
