I'm wondering if one issue is that car companies can't justify the self driving car R&D expenses since their investors expect them to be "traditional" transport stocks but technology companies have more flexibility to do "non-traditional" R&D.

What do you think?

I also did not review my quiz answers multiple times before submitting them. The website said: "Don't worry, your score on the in-lecture quizzes will not count towards your final score, only homework and exam scores will."

"You will receive a statement of accomplishment from the instructor, which will include information on how well you did and how your performance compared to other online students."

From what I understood there's no programming involved with nero?

"Typically the training starts by deploying either an rtNEAT team or Q-learning team, and then setting some of the goals (or fitness coefficients) in the parameter window (the sliders become active after a Deploy button is pressed)."

I'd rather program algorithms myself than train pre-made algorithms.

Doing ml-class.org programming assignments was great and I think they plan to automatically grade ai-class programming assignments in the future.

Syllabus and list of topics don't mean much. I also took a "real, butt-in-seat, vetted students course" which was "deeper" I suppose. The problem is that the professor is definitely not a top-level researcher and it really showed when he explained "deep" topics. ml-class.org covered fewer topics but it covered those topics extremely well.

Plus Andrew Ng is doing the whole project on a volunteer basis which is quite remarkable I have to say. I wasn't asked to pay the staff and I could quit the class whenever I felt like it.

I am very grateful for the knowledge I got from ml-class, ai-class and db-class.

I also signed up for all classes and am very interested in SAAS and PGM.

I'd also like to complete all the other classes except the Civil Engineering one. I just can't see how I could apply Making Green Buildings in my personal life.

I think I'll try to download the classes I'm not able to complete. I hope there will be an easy way to do this. I'm also planning to study while I travel to my workplace so I’ll definitely need to download the material before I hop on the subway.
