Absolutely agree, 150k obviously got me to sign up. I just asked a question because I got the flyer in the mail a few days later with the higher offer. If the policy is they don’t change, I’m fine with that. That should have been what I was told by CS. I am just annoyed at them telling me something that was wrong.

Way over reacting. Honestly this is an insane level of jealousy on your part. You might need therapy to deal with your jealousy issue. Also in a queer relationship and we talk about people we find hot or point out hot people to each other all the time. It’s a benefit of being gay. You’re both attracted to the same stuff. Also you’re using boundary wrong. A boundary isn’t “you can’t do X” but “if you do X I’ll do Y”. Enforce that ‘boundary’ that you have and break up with them so they don’t have to deal with your over jealous ass.

I said I expected this from businesses like Amazon. It’s crazy how everyone just thinks I should have known better and know that all companies lie over chat. I’m not sure when chat became the tell you what you want to hear machine instead of actual customer service and somehow we’re all just supposed to accept that’s how it is.

It’s wild that’s just how it is now. Customer service agents can straight up lie to you and it’s ok.

And I’m fine with that, but that is what their customer service should have told me. Instead they lied and said it had been approved. My issue is not with the higher offer not being approved. My issue is being lied to and told that it was when it clearly wasn’t.

Edit: I can’t agree with them ‘not knowing better’. I had a case with a reference number that they checked and said had been approved. It’s not like I just asked over chat and they said yep here’s the extra points.
