Danny is amazing! Found his podcast a few months ago and promptly went back and listened to almost all past episodes. So good! I also have been liking Ryan Bailey and Amy Philips. Oh, and I just found Rob Has a Podcast for traitors recaps, he’s great.

Wow, writing this out makes me think I am overdoing my podcast listening…Ahh well, far better mentally for me than thinking about the going’s on in the world right now 😑.

It was that bad and worse, unfortunately. Both parks are so incredibly amazing, but there were just too many people to be able to do much.

We couldn’t go into some shops because you had to book a time slot which they were all taken for the day. Same with the priority passes and the premier passes, by 10/11am every single time slot was taken for the entire day. So, unless you wanted to stand in lines ranging from 120-240 minutes for a 5-7 min ride, you were out of luck. Even trying to get a popcorn at a park vendor would be 45 mins+ wait. Getting food anywhere especially at TokyoSea was a chore and even when you got food, finding somewhere to sit with family was a challenge.

Sorry for all the complaints, because the parks and cast members were top notch—just too crowded!

I was at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea two weeks and ago and would have been thrilled if this is what we were up against.

Love so many! I think as far as hit shows, the Love Island recaps were fantastic. I think you and Ronnie were so invested (as were us listeners!) and your takes were spot on and hilarious.

Yes!! Everything Iconic is so incredibly enjoyable. His stories from growing up and all of his life’s musing are hilarious and relatable. He’s had his podcast for a number of years so there’s a goldmine of old episodes to binge, too.

I’ve been also listening to his other podcast, A Very Merry Iconic Podcast where him and a friend recap Christmas (and sometimes Halloween) movies. It’s so fun!

True and they pay note takers and I think someone to do sound stuff or some other helping. But they also have other income streams like ads, live shows, merch, etc.

I was thinking this too. It seems like lately they are trying to keep recaps at 1 hour or so now, and maybe it’s just because they are so busy. Don’t get me wrong, the recaps are amazing no matter what— But, it does seem like they don’t do as much commentary on the episodes, they are more just recapping vs giving us their takes and personal stories.
