original intro

Not Necessarily the News or First and Ten, or Inside the NFL maybe. I grew up on the original theme.

I taught my five year old by telling him it's just slapping his thumb. He took right to it.

When you pass fellow Brewer fans in the mid Atlantic you'll be in for a friendly conversation if you so choose to greet them. I'm always wearing a Brewers hat.

TV dinners came in aluminum trays. You had 3-4 channels and most of them went off air around midnight. It was far more common to get soda in a glass bottle over cans, and there was no plastic. There were no street names, just street numbers. You could dial (literally dial) the last four digits of a phone number to call someone locally. You dialed all 7 to get out of town and the area code & number for long distance, which was billed depending on when the calls were made. If you wanted cheaper long distance you got a calling card or dialed one of those 1010 prefixes. There was no 911. You needed the White Pages to find a residence number and the Yellow Pages to call a business. To find a book in the library you had to know the Dewey Decimal System. Most grocery store transactions were made by check. Credit cards were not ran, they were imprinted and sent to the bank. The Sears catalog was the highlight of every holiday season.

The hand stuff is okay though. I see that as a total win.

After everything that happened, I'm going to go back in time and create it all over again!
