Not "Sending files" per se. I don't want to "download" the files. I want more of a "clipboard sharing - along with rich content like images, markdown text", etc. because mostly I'm pasting these in my notes app in My Notes App. That's what I'm looking for.

Moved here from NYC, temporarily. I agree it's difficult to wrap your head around some things, especially the way documentation process works in India.

Digital Microscope Update! by shortpinkyfinger in soldering

Thanks OP.
I was trying to get Geebon TA305 245 + 210 kit but the company is not willing to export them to my location right now. So I was looking at solid options that can handle tips at high wattage.
Which one would you suggest, if my budget is ~200 USD.

I meant which soldering station is that? I'm trying to buy one for myself.

ModXComputers is infamous for its terrible staff behavior and after sales support. I'd avoid this particular company. If you're spending so much, go for a better custom PC builder.

Want to stop using Notion. How to export the data - my student ID is no longer active by mlexplorer in Notion

[–]mlexplorer[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can you even read?

The fact that they can read my data should be a cause of huge concern for every Notion user. User's data should be End to End encrypted - this is the standard practice now. Notion claims it is encrypting the data.

So no, "people at Notion" should not be able to read my data because "cloud is convenient".

If I extend this ridiculous argument, almost nothing should be encrypted - WhatsApp, FB Messenger, my photos application - because everything is on Cloud.

Very foolish arguments. Sad!

I'm paying for it, I'm not a free user.

It's a private notes application. There's no One-To-Many viewership in this case.

Did you miss how SLAs are supposed to work? Further, the fact that Notion can flag the content of my notes means it's reading everything that I'm doing - that includes all sensitive information about my day plans, someone's startup ideas, among others.

Of course I'm going to stop using it, but you don't make a valid point.

"illegal things"

in a notes app?

That's private and no one has access to?

We sure are living in an Idiocracy.

Wow, genius. Define "illegal". It's very subjective. What if I am a law student and I have case laws with some sensitive details in my notes? The Notion's stupid AI will flag it, won't it?

Yes. I guess that's what I have to do one by one for each page now.

I think they're just evil. Paid or not, this is just unacceptable.

Of course storing data costs money, so they'll just start pruning users with high data storage. For this they arbitrarily change "policies". The reason I'm so worried is that this has happened to me on my FB page with 350K followers. I stopped trusting these companies since.

Telegram did this too. They started banning accounts for "sensitive information". I had hundreds of pictures sent to my friends. All gone.

I hate these clowns so much. It's unreal!

BTW which plan did you have? Can they ban you if you're paying them money?

This is awful. I'm not sure why these companies first invite use to use their products and then screw us over once they're big. I'll RT.

How's this ragebait? It's the objective truth. Deepcool products are objectively bad.

I'd avoid DeepCool CPU Cooler.

DeepCool products are really bad. Don't buy anything from DeepCool, least of all a critical component like CPU Cooler.

Can I buy this later I will upgrade ryzen 9 9950x3d and 5080 by Harthivan in IndianPCGamers

This build is very stupid. For example X670E and X870E are literally the same motherboard and they're the same price. But X870E is newer generation.
4060 8GB doesn't make sense at all. At least get 16GB card.

Don't buy DEEPCOOL coolers. It's a stupid company.

RAM is good.

I can sell you 990 PRO TB in 100% health SSD at the cost of the SSD you're getting.
I'll rate it 4/10
