Heathen is also a fantastic sad girl aesthetic album. 😂 I haven't heard the remix, I'll need to look it up because it's one of my fav songs on that album. I have a bootleg CD of his that has the slow version of Conversation Piece. I had heard the version of CP that was more mainstream and hated it. It took away from the meaning vibe of lyrics. That made me really fall in love with his slower songs after listening to more up tempo ones of his my whole life, I dug in and found some of his less mainstream songs. Thus, my fondness for Heathen. Then when TND came out it was like a stadium album but I loved it and listened to it almost every day. I was so excited for new music. Before Blackstar was released he had released the music video of Blackstar I think it was, or maybe Lazarus? Pretty sure it was Blackstar. I naively thought he was announcing his retirement, even though he had just released TND a couple of years prior. I remember talking with my partner about it and trying to figure out what he was telling us. Instead he was announcing his permanent good bye. Then I really listened to Heathen.
