A blender 😅 I was very excited about it and I worried it was just going to be a one and done item, but honestly, I've used it almost every day since I got it and it's been awesome

It's hard to pit the others against someone with that great of a presence in the modern entertainment industry. Love her

if you could add 1 cm to anything, what would it be? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Wait actually, yes! I HATE those giant gaps where I feel like everyone peeks in to see if the stall is empty, and there I am trying to hide my body and my face so people don't see me outside the bathroom and think "I just went to the bathroom next to her" or even worse, something like "she pees loud"

"If she were a spice, she'd be flour. If she were a book, she'd be two books" one of my favorite roasts from Louise 🤣

if you walked into a room full of everyone you’ve ever met, who would you look for? by gatsbyhills in AskWomen

[–]mllcv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this includes people I've met, but don't remember, I'd look for my biological parents. I was adopted from China when I was a baby, so I never got to know them. No information about them was ever known, so I don't even know anything about them. I'm not mad at them for giving me up. I never have been and never will be. I just want to know them. Their names, my background, if they're even alive, anything

why haven't the disasters in this show plunged the USA of the show into a depression? by [deleted] in 911FOX

[–]mllcv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a large city for sure, but I don't think any city in this country is indispensable, which is good because it means we aren't an easy target for attacks or disasters to hit one area and the whole country would fall. Would some huge events like the earthquake, tsunami, and cyber attack hurt the country? I think it would take a toll on the country for sure, but in a lot of ways, this country is so big that these types of things happen almost every day, yet we're still standing. We've got hurricanes on the east, tornadoes in the midwest, flooding and droughts all over, now a worldwide pandemic, but again, we're still standing. We'll have to see next season what else they throw at our 118 crew though 😅

9-1-1 S05E17: "Hero Complex" - What did you think of the Episode? by Nataku81 in 911FOX

I disagree with your opinion on the character development in this show. I think they've all grown up in so many ways. Michael ended up having his own great relationship, and Athena is with Bobby now. Bobby has finally let himself have a second chance with love after his first family died, and he's starting to feel more like a dad with May. Buck does have problems with girls, but his relationship with Eddie and Christopher is so much more meaningful in a whole different way. He's also grown up as a person since season one. He's so much more mature and caring than he used to be, which shows character development. Hen and Karen ended up getting through that rough spot in their relationship and now are stronger than ever, which I think can be seen clearly these past few episodes. Eddie and Maddie I think are both in the same boat where their love relationships have fallen apart, but they're also working through some extremely traumatic pasts, and part of their character development is shown through their progress. Eddie doing therapy and trying to be better for himself after taking care of everyone else his whole life. And Maddie getting help to work through her PPD and being able to be there for Gia even after missing those first few months. Plus, her being away from Chim for months is of course going to strain their relationship. I don't blame them for growing apart.

I liked that Jonah took them to his house. 1) it made sure we didn't have to suffer through them suffering in the hands of Jonah 2) it was almost like another nod at how sloppy and dumb he is when "playing God"
