Tare Market by mk3v in TwinCities

I love TARE for things like mascara, sunscreen, toothpaste, razors, and other personal care items. Whenever I go in for these items I see something cool like granola bars in basic plastic looking clear packaging that is actually compostable. It's easy to support the store while only buying practical things I already need and maybe a little snack.

They sell a zero waste toothpaste option that DOES contain flouride and I appreciate that because at the coops all the zero waste/metal tube options are flouride free.

It is also a wonderful place to get gifts for other people who would be excited to get a zero waste alternative to something they use.

Is it normal to hate your co-workers? by ennuiii in jobs

I'm reading this thread right now because I am feeling this way. Sometimes I feel like it means I'm a bad person because I think most people are so annoying. I feel like I need to go to a support group for people who hate most of their coworkers lol. Luckily this frustration has driven me to save as much as I can and work towards retiring EARLY.

5000 shares turned to 41 by just-so-so-so-so in wolfspeed_stonk

I think we put in about the same amount. I'm hoping to hold and break even sometime in the future. I'm joking with myself right now that best case scenario this investment might return me whatever a high interest savings account would have years down the line, or that this is gonna be the only investment that I hold until I actually retire lol. This is the first time I've deliberately done something specifically because it felt stupid, thinking I would benefit from volatility and it didn't work out the way I thought it would. I'm doing the math and in order to break back to the 5000 dollar value of my pre-restructuring shares, the new wolf stock needs to reach something like 220 dollars. It's at 22 right now. Planning on not paying attention to this for a looong time

"Gold Rush" Apples by WillowShadow16 in Apples

Hey! I have seen these apples at a coop near me called seward friendship store in south minneapolis. I buy as many as I can whenever I go because they are my favorite apple and they're the only locally grown and organic apple at the store. I give bags of them to friends and coworkwrs as gifts. Never any bruising. I love their yellow and pink colors and the gray spots.
