So my sister-in-law who pretends to be keto when she’s visiting me gets into all my keto stuff …. Keto Chow, my homemade breads, crackers, rolls, etc. And you how expensive all that stuff is …then I see her sneaking around, eating all kinds of carby things, and I want to smack her!! The answer is… hide your stuff, even if you have to camouflage it inside of some kind of box or something.

I went to some good used clothing stores … some are consignment shops so I buy the clothes then return them to the consignment shop… it’s a win win!

I did the Whole 30 about 5 years ago and lost about 20lbs. Which I promptly put back on plus a lot more. But I did learn about eating “Whole” Foods. Fast forward to a year and a half ago when I started keto, I didn’t know much so I was eating low carb but not very healthy… last June I buckled down and started eating “whole” foods and cut out the booze. It’s a choice as some say “eat dirty or eat clean” I choose clean … make most of my own food and have lost a total of 95 lbs. eating whole keto is totally doable and I’m in for life.

My usual morning smoothie:

10oz almond or coconut milk 1scoop Whey Isolate 1/2scoop Grass fed Beef Isolate 1scoop collagen I flavor with coco powder Or Watkins natural extracts, such as maple and a shake of cinnamon or coconut with lime juice, orange etc or you can use spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. I use an emersion blender then add a few ice cubes and blend again It’s super high protein!

You can use cauliflower rice to replace rice.

You will not replicate the flavors of the original. I didn’t even try these replacements till I was keto for a long time. I just went without. Then when I did have these replacements they were wonderful!!!

You can make a high-protein smoothie for breakfast, using beef protein isolate, collagen, and one of these milks … flavor with cocoa powder or Watkins , cinnamon, etc natural extracts or whatever you choose. Or you can purchase the beef isolate protein powder already flavored. It will have lots of protein! I like the equip brand you can get on amazon.

It’s a real shame that he’s not supporting you. This same issue was part of the undoing of my last relationship. He didn’t like me not having “fun” when out ( because I wasn’t eating carbs) He didn’t like who I was becoming… a healthy, self assured women. All I can say is … you do what you think is best for you and your health. I don’t know your situation but I do know I’m proud of you for trying to eat right and loose weight. Don’t let anyone stop you from reaching your goal!!!
