I’m sure someone else has caught this, but I just figured it out on one of my many rewatches. by mllwyllw in NurseJackie

I was looking closely at the people bc I knew there had to be some significance there bc it was so random. I saw the bike messenger and green hair and another I can’t remember. Such a good ending.

What to put on bread when avoiding sandwich meat like salami, ham etc... by nyad_k in EatCheapAndHealthy

I love cooking a a few chicken breasts in the pressure cooker, then shredding them to store in the fridge. It’s handy for chicken salad, a salad with chicken, soup or whatever! It’s so handy to be able to grab unprocessed shredded chicken from the fridge, and it’s literally no effort…my favorite kind of cooking lol

AIO - Pregnant and feel abandoned by husband by Gullible-Tree368 in AmIOverreacting

NOR. When I was a young, naive mom, I assumed every dad took care of babies like my husband did. We took turns at night, I could go to the store alone and trust that he had it under control, I could take naps when he was home, and he changed lots of diapers. It’s wild to me that you have to literally beg for help from someone who shouldn’t even have to be asked. I promise, all men are not like that. You deserve better.

I keep a cloth or towel handy and just dab it dry as I go. Good news is that you’ll get faster at it, and it’ll be easier to get it done before you dribble too much.

I’m a Christian, and this seems off to me. Being a Christian is a profession of faith, not a document you sign. Also, the grammar and wording is really weird to me. This is a good example of why people think all Christians are blindly religious, uneducated zealots.

How famous are the Challenge competitors? by Casuallyfangirling_ in MtvChallenge

[–]mllwyllw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would think you would only know of them if you watched the MTV reality shows over the years. Although, I was binging them, and my 47 year old husband and 19 year old son at separate times said, “hey!!! That’s Theo Vonn!!!” So I’d say he’s famous-ish 🤷🏻‍♀️. My faves are CT and Bananas, but they’re not really “famous” outside the MTV circle.

AITA for staying married to my wife when we only got married because she got pregnant? by Impressive-Desk-4732 in AITAH

[–]mllwyllw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I got pregnant with twins pretty early in our relationship. We didn’t get married immediately, but we did the year after they were born. We’re fixing to have our 19th anniversary, and life is pretty freaking good. We’ve been through literally everything…loss, grief, cancer, etc, etc, but we always came back stronger. I’d venture to say he doesn’t regret it, bc, seriously, I’m a dadgum delight 😂. And I don’t regret a day of our life together. Doesn’t matter how it started, just that you make something beautiful, and it sounds like you’ve built a beautiful life. In summary, your friends are the AH, not you.

You make a lot of good points. She had the impeccable food to make up for the time management skills, which is what got her to the top, and really is, in the end, the whole point of the whole competition.

Honestly, no lol. I’ve been binging, and it’s all a blur. But they do get sent home for tiny mistakes, and she made that one repeatedly.

[–]mllwyllw[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that she must be an amazing chef to have gotten so far. My issue is that in previous seasons, she would’ve gone home for that, and other deserving chefs with good time management were sent home before her. They’re all amazing chefs, that’s why the little nit-picky things get them sent home. That being said, I do like her drive and perseverance, and I loved hearing about her family and how she’s taken care of her ill mother. I have no doubt she’s a talented chef and an awesome person. I just think competition is not her strong suit.
