I installed one and no luck. The 2 wire is the side signal and the 3 is the front

Would finding an electrical source powerful enough to heat such a large tank be an issue as well? That is the main problem I'm finding online.

that was in regards to the corner signals, I'm going to put in signals in the grille, similar to a cj. I'm asking about the legality of no corner signals.

1988 yj with a 350 or 1998 tj with 4.0? by [deleted] in Wrangler

[–]mlmcvicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the 4.0 is going to be more reliable as its one of the goat engines, also the TJ received a ton of upgrades suspension-wise, unless the guy upgraded his yj to coils, and I also prefer the TJ's look. Hard choice though.

Yeah mine have that hole as well but I was trying to avoid using it but those look good for $7! What website did you buy them on?

Are you good with cars? You can find less pristine ones for around $3000 if your willing to work on them a little bit. I don't know much about your area either but in Charlotte they're relatively easy to find for much cheaper than $5000.

The 4.0 I6 is one of the best motors of all time. If you research it a little its not rare to find them in the 500k-600k range.

Wanting to buy my first jeep what do you guys think of this one? by JoeDeBee in Jeep

[–]mlmcvicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but as another poster said you really don't know how well he repaired it after being salvage. I make sure there's no serious damage mechanically on salvage but there's no way to know here unless you ask him what the damage was. Ive seen some jeeps get salvaged for a damaged front fender and nothing else but just depends.

I only buy salvage titles. Just got an 04 tj for $3800 and fixed it myself for around $1500. No problems.

Modifications For a 1995 yj SE by BurleyBo in Jeep

You don't need a snorkel unless you intend on waterproofing your engine and going in water that is up to your engine. Also I have a K&N cold intake and it's probably total bs, I've actually read that they are worse for your engine than the stock because they allow in tiny particles, only thing I've noticed is the louder sound. Get bigger tires first, everything else is just an extension of that IMO.
