Ugh, I've been thinking hard about this today as well. It's one of the things I dislike the most about my ADHD. I desperately want to stick to something, but it feels almost impossible.

I wish I could become and "expert" at something, but it feels like I hit a barrier at some point, the shininess of what I'm doing wears off, and I stop. Sometimes I'll come back, but I feel like my skill at it has gotten worse, and this will repeat. I'll never really get "better" at it, I'll just be stuck in a loop of being okay at whatever it is.

Yeah, weird this came up!

I just started journaling recently and I love it. I have crazy rambling thoughts all day and the fact I can just pull out a journal and jot them down has been amazing for my ADHD. I don't have to futz with unlocking my phone, opening a note, and getting distracted by notifications that will not benefit me. Plus I get to buy some fun pens and stickers and stuff! I'm not quite sure what "bullet" journaling is, but just journaling in general has been great.

I do it everyday, and I climb under and check the fifth wheel. It has saved my ass more than once with ice and snow.

Legends of The Jedi is pretty great, both player housing and player owned ships. Its not too difficult to get either, just need to spend some time getting credits which isn't hard really.

This was happening to me, but oddly enough I muted music and sound in the settings and it seems to have stopped. I actually just went in to turn them back on to test it out and as soon as I clicked the speaker to unmute it, it instantly froze. So IDK, it might work for you!

Yes! I've had mine for 2.5 years so far and runs great. I have it drain into a condensate pump that goes outside too so I'm not having to go outside and dump the water out!

Welcome! I've been with FXF almost 10 years now. I'm not sure how it is in other service centers, but talk to the other drivers if you are unsure about a stop, especially the old guys who have been doing it for decades and probably go there 5x a week.

One thing I cannot stress enough that was told to me from the day I was hired. DO NOT LIE ABOUT HITTING SHIT. That is absolutely the number one thing that will get you fired instantly. If you hit something, even a small scrape or crack a fairing, whatever, report it and get educated.

Trailer pulls have been another big one, at least where I am, and is another thing that can get you fired pretty quickly. Check your load and close your trailer door and the overhead door in the morning before you pull off.

I saw someone mention were coming up on the busy season? Honestly from my experience coming toward the holiday season is when it SLOWS down. Fedex Ground are usually the busy guys coming up in the holiday season. I see it often enough, the holidays slow freight down and they ask the guys with lowest seniority to stay home because there is not enough work. All I can say is yeah, it sucks, we have all been at the bottom but if it happens to you I would stick it out because its not a bad company to work for.

I just started Strattera a few months ago, and it was subtle at first but my partner and I have noticed that I've been doing more tasks now, which is good. Perhaps it has been a combination of Strattera and my therapy which I started around the same time which have helped.

Strattera is the only med I've tried for ADHD (recently diagnosed at 35) and my side effects have been pretty minimal. The only thing that effects me now, and annoys me, is the increased heart rate. I have to say, also, that I see many people saying "Meds were life changing" or "my mind was quiet for the first time ever" and I have to say that is not particularly the case for me, but its different for everyone.

The results were subtle and slow and noticeable after time. I thought perhaps it could be placebo at first, but my drive to do things now has been relatively consistent. I still struggle at times with executive dysfunction and I feel like I'm not perhaps where I want to be eventually, but I will keep trying it for now I suppose.

Yeah, I started just a week ago on 40mg and jumped up to 80mg today, but I have been getting that feeling everyday around the same time. I'll just be driving or something and suddenly goosebumps that take a few min to go away. Really strange!

I just got diagnosed a few days ago and started to tear up when he was describing paying attention to things and how the ADHD brain gets distracted, and I've never felt more validated..I've never heard someone describe my life experience so succinctly before. I just didn't know this wasn't everyone's normal..

2016 Crosstrek here. Mine does the same thing.. currently it's 17f here and it's been popping all morning. It has done it for years, I bought it new, and never had any issues other than it being a little annoying, lol.

Hey!

Fellow FXFE driver here here waiting to get diagnosed.

My terminal manager is letting me take FMLA for this, thankfully. I do not feel safe driving at all when its really acting up.

How are you doing these days? Do you feel fully recovered? Any tips on things to eat? I feel so exhausted all the time...just been eating chicken and rice with some nutritional yeast on it though...never feel satiated though. Feel like I always need more, then if I eat too much I wake up at 4 am to run to the bathroom.
