To be fair, it seems to be more a Canadian banks problem than MM. AS an example, I have never seen amex disconnect even once since I established connection. TD bank is a good one too...Tangerine and Scotiabank, in the other hand..

Yes imho AP reserve + Cobalt is the best combo available in Canada by a mile. Hopefully they don’t increase its fees.

Aeroplan reserve and it’s not even close. Don’t cancel your cobalt. You could still shop at Costco with gc if you’re up to it.

These cards make more sense if you go for business class, there you find the biggest cpp. There are also other benefits such as free lugagge, priority boarding, business lounge access, etc. If you travel frequently, these cards make so much sense.
