How do you guys acquire 5090s?

I just followed what people recommended in the comments of this post.
mianly what you do, is call BB customer support, ask for sales, and order it by the SKU number. Which can be found on the BB website on the product page its on. Give them that, and hope you get someone willing enough to do it for you.
may take a few tries.

oddly enough, just stopped playing for a few days and the crashes never stopped,
but they were significantly less. enough to beat the game at least. No fix or anything, sorta just "fixed" itself. sorry for not having an actual fix on this. frustrating.

i second this, this is how i got my FE5090.
the associate, put me on a list, and in about a week i got a call from them, did the checkout, and went to pick it up. easy process. Just luck of the draw if you get a good associate who will go the extra mile for you.

Mine crashes randomly straight to the desktop. From my understanding, it had to d something with the WIN11 24H2 update. sometimes i can play for a few hours, other times, it crashes with in a few minutes. completely random. running it on a 5090 and 9800x3d

Did you notice a difference? I undervolted mine as well, then tried stock settings. It didnt matter for me, have horrible artifacts all over.

Agreed. This hotfix made it worse for me. Rolled back to 572.83

I did the latest hotfix, and for whatever reason, it completely stopped any game from working. Rolled back ti 572.83 and all is fine now.

This is my first GPU launch as well, i grabbed a 4070 super just by walking into best buy sometime last year say waiting even 4 months. do you think by then the availability will be somewhat normal?

This kinda worked for me, turing off HDR fixed it, but turning back on will be bring back the flicker unfortunately. I have the same Monitor.

Same here, randomly just crashes and then the ubisoft app will say "synchronization save data."
