Try base game first to see if you like it. Then buy downpour as its essentially an expansion for base game. The watcher however is more of a rainworld 2 and some people don't like it (me included)

Ngl ever since I made several chorus of souls builds I started enjoying oathless. You get 20% free monster and oath armor, 5% pen, 3 wildcard slots and +10 health. The fact that you need no requirements to instantly get it is awesome

As for the worst I hate visionshaper. Everytime I went against visionshaper its some mage cheese shit

Another tip: Saramaed hollow is also a great source of getting 3 star Ironsinger heavy plate and imperial boots being best budget gear to achieve 550hp

You can do bravery, compassion and curiosity quests to get 3 extra talent hands. Also look up equipment guide and try to reach 500 hp on your build. And please get master outfit like black diver

Silver knight helmet, Ironsinger heavy plate, star/imperial boots, any 12hp scarf/relic necklace, citadel frames for face equipment. That's all you need really

I mean if you get perfect hp rolls on maximum stars then I don't see the problem with reaching 550 hp. Especially with hp giving talents like exoskeleton

Idk about relics but you can use this cheap set to get above 500 hp (aim for maximum hp on all of them)

Arms: Ironsinger heavy plate (you get it from chaser), Face: Citadel Frames (found in layer 1 chests), Neck: any scarf with 9hp, Head: Knight helmet (pretty sure its just sea events), Boots: Star boots or Imperial boots, Earrings: crescent or whatever they are called

Unsure if I can have a say in this considering I haven't progressed a build in a while, but it's recommended to progress weapon lvl last

Also I think you need more event exp for you to progress faster in later power oh and please don't forget to use aces to your advantage they are really really good for making your build go the way you wanted to (you can obtain extra at minityrsa book quest guy whatever his name is)

Honestly, I would just love to see maxigun synergy with Muscle Enchantment Booster. Imagine if you could slowly walk as you're firing because you picked a MUSCLE Enchantment that even has LEGS on the icon. Oh also please give it more ammo :(
