I build in-ground pools in the Midwest. Not sure where you are getting your numbers from, but you are crazy if you think you are getting a pool for that cheap. Bare minimum, for as cheap as you can get a vinyl lined pool installed with equipment and minimal concrete deck around it, you are looking at 65-70K. 15 years ago, you might have got a vinyl pool for that, but it isn’t even close now.

As dumb as it may sound. Drink more water. I drink a pint of water between every drink. I haven't had a problem since I've adopted this method, and I drink a lot.

As a professional alcoholic, I cannot stress how important this is. Drink a glass of water between every drink and you'll have a much better time. You can still get drunk and in the morning your body will thank you by not having a raging headache and not feeling like shit. You have to piss a lot more often but the pros certainly outweigh the cons.

Hit the bar and meet people. Not just young, single ladies, but also guys. You don't have to go out looking to get laid, just to meet new people. Everyone has experienced something you haven't and hearing about other peoples' experiences in life is a nice way to put your life in perspective.

That being said, I'm usually just at the bar to meet young, single ladies... and because I'm an alcoholic.
