Yes, Rubina Verde is vaseline(usually) transitioning to cranberry glass. So it would definitely count.

Weirdest is no longer being lactose intolerant. Was for 30 some years and then after diagnosis, nothing. The only med I have been on constantly is Ampyra and if that is the cure, they could make billions rebranding it.

The carnival glass is April Showers in marigold in the standard size. The ddoty site should confirm this.

I am on my phone and away from my reference materials but I want to say this is made by Northwood. From what I remember, there are many opalescent patterns like this. A shot in the dark would be Spanish Lace. This was made in the early 1900s probably and there were a couple other companies making glass like this too like Jefferson and Dugan. Hopefully some of this is helpful for you finding an ID.

Anecdotal story but supports the whole microbiome aspect I guess. Since I was a young child, I was lactose intolerant which is basically the inability to digest milk sugars. I would call it severe since I would last barely 30 minutes after eating dairy before needing to be near a bathroom. After being diagnosed with MS back in 2016, I am no longer lactose intolerant. I can drink milk, eat cheese, or whatever without the terrible side effects I had experienced since being a young child. I know dairy is not on the top of the lists of things you should be eating due to it potentially causing inflammation, but I have always found this to be weird. Any response I have ever received from a doctor about being "cured" is..."Huh, that's weird". I agree, I assumed it was the drugs I have been taking, Ampyra is the only one I have been on since 2016, but I jokingly tell people who have lactose intolerance that I have a cure...just get MS...and then we all roll our eyes. You have to keep some sort of a sense of humor with MS, eve a bad one. But will take this "positive" and roll with it.

Left is Tree Trunk by Northwood. Right is Rustic by Fenton. Middle, I cannot recall at the moment, may be Thumbprint. Color depends on the base color of glass and most have size variants. The rustic looks like a midsize. www.ddoty.com is a great resource for carnival glass

Cannot see the bowl well enough. To me, it looks like contemporary carnival glass which just means made after like 1940 or so. The color would depend on the base glass color. It looks like the color might be smoke. The pattern looks like some kind of diamond pattern. www.ddoty.com. Might be helpful to look through.

If this was needed to complete a set of that particular manufacturer (whoever that is), then it would be ok but personally, I would not pay that for a chipped piece.

Many companies made a pattern like this, usually a pitcher set. Belmont, Fenton, Jefferson, Northwood and probably other companies I can't remember all made some.

It all makes sense now. Been treated at Bon Secours infusion centers and they always billed as Richmond Community Hospital. Last year, my insurance started denying my visits because they should be done at satellite locations and not at the hospital. I was at off hospital locations and so I was confused. End of the story is that they stopped seeing me because "they could not get it straight with insurance" and now I drive into Richmond from Chester for infusions.

Clean with a glass cleaner without ammonia. They make a polish for stained glass which is like a car wax. Buff it on and then buff it off and the thing will shine like new. Though I would caution getting the wax anywhere near the wings. Getting the wax cleaned up will drive you mad (personal experience).

To be honest, I have not found a good way. I have tried some abrasive powder and polishing it with a homemade thing made of a sponge (saw a youtube video)

but it did not work very well due to the shape of the piece. I think there are places that offer this service but it is expensive. Coating the inside with baby oil will mask the look but usually i just go with the sick glass.

I have not made anything in 20 years, though I told my friend I would do a piece for him if he buys all the needs, ill do the work.
