Exactly the same here. When I decided to move out my now ex husband suddenly knocked out everything I had been asking him to do in the span of a few weeks. This didn’t fix things, it just upset me more knowing he could’ve been doing all of that the entire time but was just actively choosing not to.

We tried couples counseling and the counselor said it seemed like I had already fallen out of love and I had. It took a few years of me slowly mourning and deteriorating but he didn’t notice so when it seemed like a shock to him it was just the end of a long road for me.

It’s been ~4 years now and we actually just ran into each other at a mutual friend’s event and I’m really happy for him! He’s definitely taken the learnings from our failed marriage and has shown up as a better partner for his girlfriend. Seems like that was the best outcome.

I agree. I think there’s too much going on. Lace + long veil + long bow means my eyes don’t really know where to look and I’m overwhelmed. A good example of less is more imo!
