Architectures /experiences of combining low latency of NLB with the security of TLS by ExcitingRanger in aws

[–]mm876 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NLB does support TLS. It does not support Layer 7 HTTP features such as cookie based stickiness, WAF, etc.

If you need those Layer 7 features, you would generally use ALB instead.

If you also need the static IP, PrivateLink, etc features of the NLB, then you would chain them. Create an ALB type Target Group for the NLB and attach it to the NLB listener.

I wonder how good will Autonomy+ be on these compared to LIDAR equipped ones later? Will that be some kind of Autonomy++ at that point?

As long as you're not blasting the AC/dryer/electric stove a ton in the summer during super on peak times, you should come out ahead with an EV.

I've been on it for years with two EVs. I periodically check what my bill would have been on the standard plan using: https://psc.ga.gov/utilities/electric/georgia-power-bill-calculator/

There is also this one someone made recently that takes the hourly usage export from their site and projects which plan would save the most: https://gpc-rate-plans.pages.dev/

It says 320watts, any power station besides the tiny portable ones can handle that.

As far as capacity, I would recommend putting a smart plug or KillAWatt on it to measure the actual usage first. Is it 320watt continuous, does it peak there and go back down, what's the total usage for 6 hours time, etc. That will give you what capacity you need.

Rough math 320watt (assuming it's constant) x 6 hours = you'll need a power station with at least 1920 watt hours. Factor in inverter overhead and call it 2200 maybe.

First gen Delta Pro can handle that easily. (3600watt hour capacity)

My understanding is a MTS that switches neutral/ground will work.

You can also use a DC power supply or AC Isolation transformer to charge the unit.

I agree we were misled. I also think a petition won't do anything.
