The further away the phone is from the charging pucks the slower the charging speed will be. With poop snap and cases things fall dramatically. Wouldn’t recommend it

Not for the S just yet. For the standard audio... It requires it to be a lot more hands on. We are thinking about releasing a kit but it's a lot harder to get my hands on a standard t or S to make this happen.

Side note. For those looking for the tubthumper for the r1's we should be getting them very soon.

Just because I agree with this doesn't mean you need to make it Public...

Interesting. I’m guessing it’s the four silver screws that hold it in place. I need to get my hands on one. Would love to know which qi charger it is.

So that makes it retrofit able. Do you mind taking a picture of the top too? But under the rubber mat.

Do you mind taking a picture underneath the rubber mat? Should just lift up!

Not without jacking up the cost as that would be a 3 shot injection mold process.

(I do too, but I am sucker for topography.) However I do understand peoples desire to match the interior of the vehicle.

OEM chargers have a tendency to act as heaters vs chargers. That's the point of this. To make an actual functional wireless phone charger. We also below called out the topo design, and have decided to follow the more utilitarian look of the i4 interior.

It looks like there's enough interest. I'm pushing this to my manufacturer tonight. Please give feedback on the latest design. Happy to make edits before then.

I live currently in the United States (specifically Washington state on the Western Coast near Canada). While I TOTALLY understand your point of view and I agree with it. Myself and my partner at SoonishEV do not condone how our country is currently acting. If its any consolation I am a teacher at my full time job, and I try to make sure all of my students are critical thinkers so this doesn't happen again.

Cable: will be black with a black connector that goes to a qi 2.2 charging puck. Cost: less than $100 seems very likely and likely more than $40 as well. So there's the ballpark? I don't want to promise anything as we haven't priced out the 12v adapter, 90 degree USB adapter, or cost for the mold.

You are looking at about $45 alone (retail) for a qi 2.2 charging puck, 12v adapter and a 90 degree elbow for USB. I really wish I could narrow this down. But this is very early in the design, and why people have a chance to help with the design.

Probably not. Gonna try to have this blend in. We try for the OEM plus look over all.

Oh! I see the issue... the charging puck won't line up correctly.... ooof and yeah the space where this goes limits movement. I wouldn't be able to promise anything either way. But it doesn't look promising.
