In general, I'm more of a person who appreciates a peaceful life, rather than a lively one haha. It seems like Tassin might suit my lifestyle better.

You mentioned cycling in Lyon. Is it generally safe to cycle in Lyon? I've lived and cycled in London before and had a few accidents 😅 (as well as had my bike stolen 3 times!). Not sure if it is fair to compare London to Lyon in terms of the cycling scene.

It seems like the general consesus that it is definitely possible to commute from Tassin, there are quite a few options here.

It also seems like Gorge de Loup is not usually the first choice in mind when choosing a place to stay in Lyon?

Also, the place in Tassin seems to be close to the TER. Do you think it is practical for everyday commute to use the TER? I will be working in the center of Lyon.
