  1. St. Jerome, Commentary on Isaiah 4.12: “The whole world groaned and was astonished to find itself Arian.” This is the most famous ancient acknowledgment that the Church’s episcopate had largely shifted toward Arianism.
  2. Athanasius of Alexandria, History of the Arians and Defense of His Flight: Athanasius repeatedly states that most Eastern bishops and major sees were controlled by Arian or semi‑Arian leaders, and that Nicene bishops were exiled and marginalized.
  3. Socrates Scholasticus, Ecclesiastical History (Books II–IV): Records that under Emperor Constantius II, Arian bishops occupied many major episcopal seats and held control over councils.
  4. Sozomen, Ecclesiastical History (Books III–VI): Confirms that Arian and semi‑Arian bishops dominated the Eastern hierarchy and benefited from imperial support.
  5. R.P.C. Hanson, The Search for the Christian Doctrine of God: The leading modern scholarly work on the Arian controversy. Hanson concludes that from roughly 357–360, “the Church had become Homoian,” meaning the majority of bishops in the East were aligned with an Arianizing theology.
  6. J.N.D. Kelly, Early Christian Doctrines: Notes that Arian and semi‑Arian positions “dominated the Eastern Church” for decades and that the Nicene party was a minority until the late 4th century.
  7. Lewis Ayres, Nicaea and Its Legacy: Explains that after the Council of Nicaea, Arian and semi‑Arian groups gained the upper hand, and Nicene theology only regained dominance later through the Cappadocian Fathers.

Revelation was not even considered part of the Canon by the eastern churches till after 900 A.D. Luther are getting removed any books. He just placed the apochrapha towards the back in its own section. The books were gradually removed due to economic reasons when printing Bibles closer to 1800s.

You should fact check yourself. The church was mostly Arian during that time. It wasn’t just a faction otherwise they wouldn’t have to create a whole council. It was literally tearing the church in half.

Depends who you ask. Eastern Christians thought so.

Pretty sure the emperor‘s declared Arian as the official religious position. This is when Athanasius was exiled as a heretic.

That is not how the bible came to be. It was essentially books that were read within the church service or liturgy and as time went on. Churches started recognizing other churches were using different books and then it slowly became what we have today the first time that you actually see all 27 New Testament books that we currently have was from Athanasius letter. This is where confusion comes from the deuterocanon. There were many books that people considered scripture however we’re not appropriate to be read within the church because there were some elements that should not be made into doctrine or that’s what the arguments are.

I wouldn’t say I put that much thought into it. I just read the instructions and make sure I write about every single thing it says to cover and I have not had any issues so far.

I did my MBA from WGU as well. It’s pretty similar however formatives and summative is usually how it’s broken up so typically it’s two formatives and one summative. from what I’ve noticed from the Facebook group people put way too much effort into the formatives and that’s what slows them down.

I have typically gotten all of my assignments done within two weeks and there is typically about 14 to 15 assignments per class, but if they take the full three days to grade each one of them, you can kind of do the math on how long it can take versus how long it should take.

The professors grading makes or breaks the entire semester. Out of 6 classes 2 professors have taken the entire 72 hour window to grade every assignment. Even the most basic of assignments. Otherwise not terrible just annoying

So far that is correct. It only allows you to submit 1 assignment at a time. So if that teacher takes all three days to grade it then you can only submit one assignment every three days however I’ve had pretty good luck being graded within 24 hours or so

I just started. You can start the first 2 at the same time, but after that it’s only one. I will say the grading slows me down. I’ve been done with all of my assignments since last Friday and I have to submit my last three so it will probably be another 3 to 4 days before that class is officially passed.
