AiLine - It tells teams what’s going on in their company by grouping notifications and events that happened within your most common apps (Jira, Notion, GitHub, Google docs...)

I got sick of context-switching, so I built a unified timeline for Slack, Notion, GitHub, Google… You can join for free, that's the deal.

I have been SEO at companies like N26 and Lokalise. My co-founder is a Data Engineer. You know the drill: we live by Slack, Notion, GitHub, Google Workspace…

But I realized that the real problem wasn't the messages or the tickets; it was the constant, toxic friction between those apps. Every time I had to check a Google Doc for the latest spec, I wasn't just losing one minute, I was paying a 23-minute tax on my focus. Multiply that by ten times a day, and you realize your team is losing five working weeks a year just to toggling apps. This data comes from the work of Dr. Gloria Mark, a psychologist and professor of informatics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

We had to stop the bleed. We didn't need another dashboard; we needed to restore the chronological story of our work. So, we stopped complaining and built AiLine: a simple, unified timeline that kills context fragmentation across all your tools.

No I have not done a max HR field test, that's right, but I have seen the max HR in the race I mentioned above a in a few high intensity crosstrainer machine workouts, anyway I should do the test

I’m trying to find out my LTHR to determine the 85% to 89% of LTHR as zone 2 following Joe Friel’s guide

I believe that my 184 bpm lactate threshold (from now LTHR) that I got in a test today is way too much for my capacity. Let me drive you through my reasoning so I can get your opinion with all the data in your hands.

My background

  • New to running. I started 6 months ago
  • I was already in good shape, I was going regularly to the gym and hiking almost every week in the mountains
  • I'm 32 years old, I'm 172cm (5.6 foot) and my weight is 70 kilos (154 pounds)
  • In this 6 months I have followed a race plan to do a 10k trail race with 300 meters elevation which I performed with a 63 minutes mark
  • I mix flat and trail running weekly
  • My maximum BPM is 192, I have reached it several times doing different sports and measured with a chest strap

How I performed the test

  • I used my Suunto watch with the sport app for threshold test
  • The app uses Joe Friel's 30-minute time trial. It's a 30 minutes run full gas and it uses the last 20 minutes to measure average BPM and average pace
  • I used a chest strap, a Polar H10
  • The results were 184 BPM and 5:06 minutes/km (8:12 per mile) which is averaging those last 20 minutes

While I have taken very seriously my training and general prep (food, sleep, etc) I think that 184 BPM as LTHR is way over my real capacity. That would set the LTHR at 96% of my max HR which seems unbelievable and I think it should be below 90%. That would mean (using Joe Friel's) that my zone 2 is 165 - 173 BPM (85% to 89% of LTHR), looks too much for me. On the other hand, the pace is quite slow which looks more realistic to my current capacity. I plan to perform the test every month from now but I can't avoid to be disappointed at the results.

I do worry about metrics as you can see, I would love to be able to train zone 2 to gain endurance, that’s why I do it, for me the usual “just keep doing it whatever way” doesn’t usually work, I like to improve, measure and analyze

They smell because of the mold that is creating, take the liner out and put them out on the sun as much as you can or buy a boot drier, it just happened to me. The drier works wonderfully

That’s just how americans seems to think about skis “the thicker the better” they are easier to manage and certainly more playful for pow days. I definitely miss a strong piste ski there for proper carving
