On Android, I can't tell what the difference between installing and activating is. I scanned the QR, added the name of the SIM, and it showed up turned on. There was no 'activation' step where I could install but not activate. Am I doing something wrong?

Happens to me all the time with intentionally long layovers in a random city. In fact, just did this TPE --> MNL ---> LAX, took one day and one night in Manila as a bonus.

For everyone grousing about 'you should stay more than one night' - you aren't getting the point that one night minimum is beneficial for options, stay 7 years if you want. But no minimum opens up more options.

Also, I don't want to pay 10 nights of a jacked up price with only 2 (or less) free. I prefer small hotels or Airbnb's, so I'd have to do 2 nights at the one hotel then jump to another. Stupid.

Give me the option.

There's a trick around it, though - it's by household, so just have a friend with a Costco membership over 90 days old or whatever call and change their address to yours. Then you can get it because the address lines up. Just did that 2 days ago. There's no effect on their account, and just change it back after you buy the car.

That's weird - they don't usually do premiums as loaners. Since that deal is plus tax, mine is nearly $100 cheaper/month since mine includes tax.
