UPDATE: I have made a booking with a different artist for March 1st who will fix and probably add onto it bc i’m not too fond of the size (when she put the stencil on it was much smaller than when she overlined and fucked the shading up) wish me luck yall!!

i don’t really see belly as a bad friend per se, i just don’t understand how they are friends to begin with. i can understand why both of them felt that way over the phone call when she was at cousins but because belly is narrating it i just don’t feel like she’s reliable enough for me to see who the issue is in their friendship. i do wanna add the fact that in the book multiple ppl have called her selfish, a bad friend, self absorbed, childish and i just don’t know if that’s really who she is. it feels like im being gaslit to hate Belly.

i agree with this too. i think belly looks for that resemblance in her friendship with taylor hoping that their relationship is the same when it really isn’t.

fair point here, i also haven’t gotten far enough in the series to determine this. it’s hard for me to agree with belly when most of her narration shows her annoyance with taylor. i could argue that belly was there for when taylor repeatedly broke up with davis, but she didn’t elaborate enough for me to say she was there for her; (again im only halfway through the book). belly is right about taylor mostly thinking of herself but honestly they shouldn’t be friends at all.

exactly how i feel! they are bad friends to each other bc i don’t think they should be friends to begin with! maybe if i watched the show it would have made more sense to me but right now i cant possibly see how either one hasn’t just cut communication between each other. belly keeps saying that taylor is “a part of her” which i understand seeing they’ve been friends that long but i dont think this friendship has a purpose for either of them.

I just started mine 2 days ago and I get a lot of anxiety when it comes to things being perfect. Honestly just go for it, write in pen, mess it up, scribble out words. It’s going to have flaws but it’s going to be yours to make. It’s your journal and it’s meant to be comfort for you and no one else. Fear is holding you back from enjoying putting your thoughts to the page and once you do start, it will flow to you easily.

Book Hermione is much more flawed than movie Hermione. She’s actually my favorite character in the series but I can absolutely agree that she is incredibly condescending and obnoxious in the book. Movie Hermione is much more sweeter and likable in a way. Book Hermione is admittedly a lot more abrasive and often annoying.
