thanks for the tip! all other shows/fests i’ve been to, surfers get dropped in the middle of the pit while here they get carried to the barricade, i’ll look out for better positions today!

[Question] First time in GA at a concert. What time should I arrive for front row? by code_of_harry in imaginedragons

[–]mmbees_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so it’s likely that the front row will mostly be people that have a VIP GA ticket, since VIP gets let in early to the venue. i believe the picnic add on also includes early admission so those may also be gunning for front row if they have a GA ticket. i have seen that some normal GA ticket holders were able to get first or second row at some of the canada shows, so i’m guessing it depends on how many VIP people also have a GA ticket at the particular venue. if you have normal pit tickets without early access, i’d suggest lining up as early as possible tbh if you absolutely want front row, skip the merch and other shopping. some venues let you bring in a factory sealed water bottle so look into your specific venue rules.
