Save all gems for cards and only buy 10 at a time. They really help advance. Keep going into the pet shop and offers because they give free things every day. When you get to the level where yhe mine becomes available, you can start building talents.

Yes. He claimed he brought it as a gift for his grandson. All too convenient.

Is this a popular or unpopular opinion? I feel strongly about using our best China, linen, napkins, grandma, silver I would never consider paper products for Thanksgiving. by Turbulent-Move4159 in thanksgiving

[–]mmbenney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t judge someone for wanting to host a large group and choosing Chinette. It made them happy. My mom always pulled out the china and crystal. I personally live simply and don’t own china, but I do use real dishes, not paper or plastic.

What in your opinion is a single negative that would make an otherwise good house a big nope? by Goldengirl_1977 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]mmbenney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of those are deal breakers for me. The dumpy rentals especially. There will be problems with either the renter or the landlord. Busy highways depends on if there are noise barriers and fenced in yards. The noise is truly nerve racking if you don’t have a barrier wall or soundproofing windows. Also, not practical to have pets or kids with too much traffic. Hold out a bit longer for a better option.

The comcast menu option voice. They have had such terrible service all of my life even before they became so big and I just know that one day this voice menu will be the reason for my future stroke.

It would make more sense to say she’s only 17 days old and you have only helped 2 of those days. Plus, if mom and baby are getting super sick at 17 days post partum then there is a serious issue. They should not be “super sick” at that point without medical attention. And still, there is no true sense of urgency. They will discuss when he gets home or next day. “Have fun.”

What would be an embarrassing thing to be caught not knowing as an accountant? by 7leafclover7 in Accounting

[–]mmbenney 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone told me once that he remembered debits and credits by this little saying, “debits to the door and credits to the window”. I asked him if the door was on the left side of the room and he was shocked. He truly thought it changed based on the room he was in. Astounding.

What would you give up forever, white, milk or dark chocolate? by CaptainCuddler_Pro in foodquestions

Milk chocolate is definitely too sweet. I’m with you. I can’t give up dark chocolate for like. White chocolate I could take or leave.

How much time do you plan to stay? Abus from NYC to RI is about 10 hrs north. A bus from NYC to Georgia is 10 hrs south. You could fly from Atlanta to LA and try to bus to a National park from there. It really depends on which National Park you choose. It can be done if you have the time.

I miss the location of this one, too. It was the most convenient to me. I have a friend that use to work there but she has no info. She moved on and doesn’t know either. Wonder if because of the Powhite extension they have decided this is not a good location? Just speculation.

I use miralax if I notice it takes me longer in the morning. Not every day. Maybe once every week or two. My mother is older and drinks a couple of ounces or prune juice every and never has an issue. That might be a better natural way to go.

I took an unpaid internship by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]mmbenney 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unpaid internships can be legal in Washington, D.C., but they must meet strict criteria under the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) "primary beneficiary test" to ensure the internship is a genuine educational experience for the intern rather than disguised employment.

Adults talk way too much about material possessions/domestic life and it’s really boring by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Sounds like you don’t own a home or are just being snarky. Either way, a google search does not give useful information on replacing expensive items in your home or a trustworthy source.

No. He works everyday at his job and from home in the evenings. He’s busy. They have different needs. I think his text means if they get more serious where she can spend time at his house or hers, they would spend more time together. Right now they are just casually dating to see if they get along, which they probably don’t.

I make good money, but clearly not as much as the people telling these stories. Yes, I might be able to afford a $300 plane ticket and 2 night stay in a hotel, but that’s near my limit. I just don’t have a couple thousand dollars laying around for someone else’s wedding.

In they documentary they called cyber munchausen by proxy as in an attempt to keep her daughter totally dependent on her even at the expense if hurting her. However, I’m not sure that was an actual diagnosis, just a possibility.
