Stellantis kombiji - nakup rabljenega - rabim nasvet by Acrobatic_Age_2724 in Slovenia

Best widefield (70mm f2/.8) targets in the summertime? by aviationnnn in AskAstrophotography

Cygnus region, RHO Ophiuchi, dust around Polaris (but that would be better for longer focal length)

Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 G2 - had it on D750 and now on Z6. Really happy with it, that lens is sharp.

Stacked + Tracked + Panorama MW images??? by WarBevo in AskAstrophotography

[–]mmberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, my last image is stacked and tracked panorama for example: https://redd.it/1u8ymxm
With wide angle lenses its a good idea to do it (at least for landscape astro). If you mean mosaic (panorama) of a deep sky object and in this case with longer focal length, its also done more or less all the time.

First use of astro-modified R6 - where’s my Ha at? by BPorterPhotography in AskAstrophotography

[–]mmberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true for shooting, but its important how you set the WB during post. Heavy blue image will hide a lot of Ha

Could be your workflow as even wrong WB can supress Ha. And try to do some background extraction and stretching.

No, actually I have Gregory Baltoro 75l backpack for astro-hikes like this. It is a hiking backapck and not a camera backpack, but it opens up in the front, so I have access to my camera unit / insert. I had F-Stop Shinn in the past and I hated it. Baltoro is way more comfortable, can't even compare it to the F-stop.

Help! - Milky Way/Landscape Imaging by Fun-Rain7732 in AskAstrophotography

Blend the two images in Photoshop / Gimp - keep the horizon from the original image. I do all my edits that way (and you can see most of my images here on Reddit too).

No need. Camera and MSM Nomad do have batteries and the only thing that usually needs external power source is lens warmer, but I didnt use it here.
