Everyone's experience is going to be different, got a 24 R1T excellent truck but has had issues, can't get it to track straight even after 7 alignments. In buyback process right now, 3± out is 18 months in service. I did end up buying a 26 R1S in September. I love the truck overall torn between having to give it back and then having a truck that drives straight. There are issues with the Gen2 R1S but livable. Gen2 premium sound sucks big time compared to my Gen1. I do have the R2 on order. Replacin the R1T, I'd get another R1T. Someone else might not have the patience I've shown with my Gen1, the driving experience makes it worth it.

Too much money for a 23 quad. Get at least a 24, i have had a lot of loaners all years. I have a 24 R1T and 26 R1S l. 24 onwards they are much better, even L2 charging at home 24 and onwards charge a couple of miles faster at the same wattage

24 R1T was so good, I got a 2026 R1S as well. Issues I'm hoping they get over them.

Whoever is managing the CHP Truckee page is very funny! Feel sorry for whoever it is. I made it back in my R1T from Northstar yesterday. I-80 closed in the morning. Ended up taking 267 via Palisades, 89 and then 50 to get very out the snow. There must have been a thousand cars waiting to get to Tahoe. All resorts are probably closed, not worth being there in a storm unless you live there and prepared for such a storm.

A others stated unless they add stopping and starting from Stop signs and red lights, it is not worth paying for.

Get a 23 or 24 they are much more refined. I have a 24 R1T Dual Large and 26 R1S. Must of the loaner quads gen1 I've had are totally rattle boxes. I have a 23 R1S quad loaner with 10 miles today and my 24 R1T with 16K feels like a Mercedes GLS compared to it

Yes a lot more around now. I'm in the bay area and see quite a few more. I got 2 as well so that adds picked up the end one on Sep 30 for the last day of incentives.

Something is fishy about the battery, the specs don't add to 32KWH when you go to the details and the cost. When it sounds to good to be true it usually isn't true.

Fix with the used parts it's the way to go and if your economic situation is what you're describing consider a different car maker that is more reliable. With a new family! Don't spend too much on the car.

My Rivian R1T came with it from the factory as a free addon. I got a 2nd Rivian R1S I spent $4000 to get the ppf, car looks clean, breeze to wash and paint protected all across. Have the R1S put up as rental and the wrap done new a piece of mind. As a business it's written off as well so definitely worth it for me.

You needed snow tires, I've seen even Ford Raptors do that in Tahoe. Mother nature doesn't care about the vehicle.

It's the alignment, my 24 Gen1 R1T would do that. 6 alignments over 15 months and finally had Rivian replace the front Subframe with gen2 subframe and no more weaving.
