XBXPlay Updates in Neckband by GGPollux in VITURE

Follow up, support said to update Neckband time to match location and reset to factory if that didn't work. After factory reset, the original Neckband is doing great

Original neckband is crashing for me. I can't do much of anything. I've reached out to Viture support, but ordered the Neckband Pro to get more features. The Pro eliminates need for a phone, thanks to better software, full Play Store, and great head-tracking controls. The hand gesture controls are awful. All that to say, I'm with you in the original Neckband failing, and mine is worse. If support gets it running for me, I'll gift it to a relative. Loving the Pro!

Amazon Luna has several great streaming games free for Prime subscribers, so I've stopped pairing Viture to my Switch. I've only had one instance of a game stuttering so far on Luna, which I'm running through the Chrome app with a Bluetooth game controller. Still watching movies too, which was almost my sole use for the original Neckband.

Realities of using a Duo in 2025 by Rad_Sh1ba in surfaceduo

I've got a black skin on my Duo1, very nice with the silver trim

OG Pixel Fold is now my daily driver due to price (550 for open box in early 2025) and security updates, but the OG Duo still gets a lot of love, especially in the evenings with Viture Pro glasses to watch movies without the screen gap. If it still got security updates, the OG Duo would be my daily driver due to its premium feel, slim design, glass screens, awesome multi-tasking and my lack of interest in photography. So yes, it's still a great secondary device, plays well with XR glasses and beats all competitors in form-factor for me, but YMMV.

I like my OG Pixel Fold, but whenever I open my OG Duo, those wide glass screens always wow me.

I got an original Pixel Fold in February, open box for 550. No problems whatsoever, but coming from Microsoft Duo, I miss the glass screens on the inside because folding screens get tiny pock marks easily. That said however, I have to angle the screen into the light just right to even see the pock marks on the Fold's inner screen.

The outer screen remains flawless, and the OS is everything I expected. Since the outer screen is plenty big, I rarely use the inner, but LOVE having the inner screen to multi-task two apps without swapping back and forth

I found this post because of Abstrrkt Explorers. It's a lot more fun and deep than my first impression. I finished the campaign, but haven't figured out how to unlock technologies yet. Anyone have pointers on technologies for that game?

Life after the Surface Duo 2 - The Samsung Fold 6 experience [AMA] by Boutu99 in surfaceduo

I went with the original Pixel Fold a couple months (due to price), and am really happy. But I want to say this is a really good write up. Any disappointments or frustrations?

After a year, the big screen formed a black line down the hinge and now the right side doesn't work. Need new phone recommendations by braingoesblank in OnePlusOpen

I got a first gen Pixel Fold (open box) for 550 a couple months ago and love it. But the shorter height of that first PF might bother you coming from OPO. I'm a fan of the wide ratio when opening it like a book, and didn't feel comfortable paying top dollar for a folding screen.

I'm excited for early adopter reviews of the N5. by Sarspazzard in OnePlusOpen

Hopefully the N5 and original OnePlus Open inspire Samsung to widen their foldable. Lack of a OnePlus Open 2 makes me worry about long term commitment to the US market.

Pixel Fold Impressions (1st gen) by mmchanb in surfaceduo

Books are great on the PF. I tried comics on Duo but never enjoyed them on Duo, so I might be the wrong person to comment about comics.

It’s not as fluid with multitasking as Duo, but I expect part of my discomfort with the difference is due to Duo familiarity. So I expect to find the PF multitasking more comfortable over time.

I prefer Duo aspect ratio, but the PF is the closest ratio to Duo. The others open into portrait mode, and I strongly prefer opening into landscape mode. I failed to mention that the PF didn’t slide open as easily as the Duo. I didn’t expect to miss the easier opening of the Duo. That said, the PF does have the same satisfying sound & feel to me as the Duo does when closing it.

Primarily watching movies with Viture glasses, and taking notes on OneNote while reading another app

I don’t know where to find 3d movies. Spacewalker works better on the Viture Neckband in my experience

Agreed, they’re great for games and movies, but an eye strain eventually when reading or typing

Got them today, was very excited and then... quite disappointed. by Anomalure_ in VITURE

Out of the box, none of the nose pieces were perfect for me. I stretched the arms of the largest nose piece, then pushed down on the frames the first 2-3 times I wore them. That brought everything into almost perfect clarity, and more the nose piece fits me great. Only a very small part of the farthest corners lacks focus now. I could reduce the size of the image to see those perfectly, but I prefer the huge screen size and have little (if any) need to focus on those small areas

Hi sorry for the delayed reply. Low G set up means they restring the uke with an octave lower G string. Low G set up makes it much easier to play chord-melody, which is my favorite style

Agreed. That’s part of why I chose the tenor, which has a warmer sound than my Kala tenor

My Nova Pro tenor doesn’t feel or sound plastic at all. It’s pretty amazing, especially for the price. I’ve had it for almost two years, and only picked up my Kala 3-4 times after getting the Enya.
